Abstract

Nurses’ job satisfactioninfluences the quality of nursing services. The improperly managed job satisfaction of nurses can disrupt the function of the hospital in providing comprehensive and quality health services. The nurses’ job satisfaction can be achieved through a good relationship between nurses and hospital leaders. A good and equal as well as supporting and collaborative relationshipis reflected in the supervision of reflective model. This study aimed to analyze the influence of head nurses’ supervision of reflective model on the job satisfaction of nursesat Tugurejo Regional Public Hospital in Central Java Province. This study employed a pre-post-test quasi-experimental design with a control group. The samples were 68 nurses recruited by purposive sampling and were assigned to the intervention group (n = 34) and control group (n = 34). The data were collected using questionnaires and then analyzed using the paired t-test. The result of paired t-test test obtained a p-value of < 0.001, indicating that there were influences of the head nurses’ supervision of reflective model on the nurses’ job satisfaction. The reflectivemodel supervision can be used as an alternative to improve the job satisfaction among the nurses. The head nurses as a low-level manager can perform the management functions well through the reflective model supervision to improve the nurses’ job satisfaction.

Abstract

Pregnancy causes physical, psychological and hormonal changes in the mother's body. One-third of women experiencing nausea and vomiting, this condition occurs because the influence of hormones affecting the increase in stomach acid. Pregnant women experience nausea, vomiting 2% in morning, 80% throughout the day and 18% continues until maternity, 1-2% experience hyperemesis gravidarum which has an impact on weight loss, dehydration, hemoconcentration (blood becomes thick) and ketonemia which has an impact on slowing blood circulation, which is oxygen and tissues. Emesis gravidarum also causes side effects on the fetus such as abortion, low birth weight, premature birth, and malforation in newborns, Intrauterine growth retardation (IUGR). Non-pharmacological interventions that can be used to avoid the risk of hyperemesis gravidarum, use ginger, lemon aroma therapy and acupressure. Exploratory research using literature review and design methods by taking sources from June to December 2021. Several journal portal websites used, Science Direct, Pub Med, proqueat, web of science Group and Google scolar .Based on keywords with the inclusion criteria of the journal year 20-17-2021, full text, related to the intervention of giving Ginger, Lemon Aromatherapy and acupressure. There were 747 articles, which giving ginger 473, aromatherapy lemon 240 and acupressure 34 based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, there were 9 articles analyzed. The results of the study showed that the three interventions, which is Ginger, Lemon Aromatherapy and Acupressure, were very effective in reducing nausea and vomiting in Emissions gravidarum. the intervention of giving Ginger, Lemon Aromatherapy and Acupressure is very effective in reducing nausea and vomiting in mothers with gravidarum emission

Abstract

Masa remaja adalah masa peralihan manusia dari anak-anak menuju dewasa dengan rentang usia antara 11 – 21 tahun, masa yang cenderung ingin mengetahui hal-hal baru, sehingga muncul perilaku ingin mencoba-coba. Di masa pandemi Covid-19 dimana semua kegiatan di luar rumah dibatasi, dapat menimbulkan dampak bagi remaja terutama kesehatan reproduksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan sikap remaja tentang reproduksi sehat di masa pandemik covid 19. Metode penelitian berupa penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan Desain Cross Sectional. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Kendal pada tanggal 9 April 2021, dengan total sampel siswa putra 65 dan siswa putri 44. Hasil analisis menunjukkan sikap remaja putra terhadap kesehatan reproduksi 48% bersikap positif sedangkan remaja putri 89%, sedangkan hasil analisis media menunjukkan remaja putri lebih banyak terpapar informasi tentang kesehatan reproduksi 48% dibandingkan remaja putra 40%. Dapat disimpulkan sikap (positif) remaja putri terhadap kesehatan reproduksi lebih tinggi dibandingkan remaja putra sedangkan untuk media remaja putri lebih banyak terpapar informasi tentang kesehatan reproduksi dibandingkan dengan remaja putra.

Abstract

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are a burden for society in general and become a heavy burden for the Indonesian people, because NCDs are diseases that will be experienced by a person for a life time. One of the policies in controlling NCDs that is effective and efficient is empowerment and increasing community participation. The involvement of women's organizations is one of the activity to help government programs to prevent NCDs. One of them is Aisyiya. Methods: Community service activities implemented on September, October and November 2021. The focus of this activity is to increase the participation of Aisyiyah cadres in Posbindu activities. The process of this activity includes providing materials to increase understanding of NCDs early detection efforts through Posbindu activities, being trained to improve skills, as well as assistance in implementing activities. Activity results: Early detection of NCDs in implementation includes checking height, weight, blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol and uric acid. The results of the implementation, found many non-communicable diseases in the community, namely hypertension 31%, the incidence of Diabetes Mellitus, 6% and pre-DM 19%. Uric acid 26%, cholesterol 24%. These results illustrate the need for Posbindu cadres to detect NCDs early. Conclusion Cadres have the ability to detect risk factors and many people who are detected are at risk of developing NCDs. This activity went smoothly, the cadres were very enthusiastic to apply these skills in NCDs risk factor detection activities.
