Abstract

The role of the government is indispensable in implementing education development through government spending. Government spending can be reflected as a description of the plan chosen by the government in an area. The Indonesian government annually allocates an education budget from the APBN and APBD of at least 20% to create a quality education system. The World Bank still finds inequality in the unequal distribution of allocations per student Another condition is the transfer of physical DAK that does not match the required infrastructure. Similarly , it was also found that there are variations in education spending and performance between regions, inefficient spending, the contribution of education spending from PAD that is decreasing, and the need for synergy between spending this research aims to determine the influence of several factors on the education budget in Indonesia in 2015-2021. This research is a quantitative research with its data analysis method, namely panel data regression analysis. The results showed that teacher qualifications do not affect the education budget. Meanwhile, the Human Development Index and the Number of Students can affect the education budget .

Abstract

Poverty is a condition where income is unable to meet basic needs, so it is less able to guarantee survival. This study aims to determine the effect of natural resources, fiscal decentralization, human development index, and labor force participation rate on poverty in East Kalimantan Province. The object of this research is 10 regencies/cities in East Kalimantan in 2014-2020, while the data analysis used is panel data regression which produces the best model, namely the Random Effect Model (REM). The results showed that the variables of natural resources, human development index, and labor force participation rate had a positive and insignificant effect on poverty in East Kalimantan. in contrast, the variable of fiscal decentralization had a negative and significant impact on poverty in East Kalimantan.

Abstract

The level of success of a country in the process of economic development is determined by the creation of a stable financial system that can be accessed by all levels of society. The implementation of the Financial Inclusion program in ASEAN countries is in accordance with the SDGs target that is being carried out where the aspect of reducing income inequality is at 10 points out of 17 global goals by maintaining population income growth which is below 40% of the population at a higher than average level. national. This study aims to identify how big the impact of financial inclusion and macroeconomic factors on income inequality in eight middle-income countries in Southeast Asia. The period of this research is from 2013 to 2019. In this research, the researcher uses panel data regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that financial inclusion has an influence on income inequality. Of the three financial inclusion variables, all three have a significant negative effect on income inequality, namely the variables of penetration, availability, and use. Meanwhile, macroeconomic variables consisting of economic growth and poverty have a positive and significant effect on income inequality. In addition, the inflation variable also does not have a significant effect on income inequality.

Abstract

Tourism has become a priority sector in Indonesia's economic development. Tourism is also expected to be the main driver in accelerating economic growth in Indonesia through job creation and business opportunities to overcome unemployment in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of the variable number of hotel units, the number of restaurant units, the number of foreign tourists, and the number of domestic tourists on open unemployment in the Province of DIY. The object of this study was 5 Regencies/Cities in DIY in 2015-2019, while the data analysis used was multiple linear regression using SPSS 20. The results of the study found that the number of hotels, restaurants, and government spending had a significant negative effect on open unemployment. The number of foreign tourists and domestic tourists has a significant positive effect on Open Unemployment.
