Hemoglobin is one of the components in red blood cells/erythrocytes that functions to bind oxygen and deliver it to all body tissue cells. Adolescent girls are susceptible to malnutrition during the second peak period of growth and development, lack of nutrient intake due to wrong eating patterns, the influence of the social environment (wanting to be slim). Adolescent girls who are malnourished cannot achieve optimal nutritional status (thin, short and disproportionate bone growth). Lack of iron and other nutrients that are important for growth and development (zinc), often getting sick. The purpose of this study was to determine anemia in adolescent girls in hamlet III, Bakaran Batu village, Batang Kuis sub-district, this type of research was descriptive analytic which aims to describe the relationship between body image, diet status and anemia in adolescent girls in hamlet III. This research was conducted from January to July, the research population was 65 respondents and the population was sampled using total sampling with research instruments, namely questionnaires and digital HB checks. Management of data by editing, coding, tabulating and data entry the results of the majority of the research are anemia as many as 52 respondents (80.0%), the majority of respondents with negative body image 51 respondents (78.5%), the results of the study of the relationship between body image and anemia obtained (OR) = 40,000. 95% CI = 7,723-207,178 and P value 0.000 <0.05, the relationship between diet status and anemia was obtained (OR) = 36.750. 95% CI = 7.008-192.726 and P value 0.000 <0.05. Teenagers to further increase knowledge about anemia, body image and healthy diet by consuming balanced nutrition and respecting body image so that they can become productive and healthy teenagers.

Abstract

According to a report from the World Health Organization, maternal deaths generally occur due to complications during and after pregnancy and childbirth. Globally 80% of maternal deaths are classified as direct deaths. The pattern of direct cause was the same everywhere, namely bleeding (25%). It is said that every woman dies every minute during childbirth, where 24% is caused by heavy bleeding. 40% of deaths due to postpartum hemorrhage occur in the first 24 hours and 66% occur during the first week. The aim is to determine the relationship between the characteristics of mothers in labor and the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage at the Afisya Clinic. This type of research is Analytical Survey with a cross-sectional design. Population 118 and sample 118, Data processing: editing, coding, tabulating, and data entry. The results of the study showed that the majority of primary postpartum hemorrhage was 78 people and a minority of secondary postpartum hemorrhage was 40 people. The age majority is at risk of 79 people and the minority is not at risk of 39 people. The parity majority is at risk of 74 people and the parity minority is not at risk of 44 people. The majority of birth spacing has a risk of 79 people and the minority delivery spacing is not at risk of 39 people. From the results of statistical tests, the Oods Ratio (OR) = 0.321% CI = 0.126-0.817 and the value is 0.0250.005, which means that there is no relationship between education and postpartum hemorrhage. From the statistical test results, the Oods Ratio (OR) value = 0.308% CI = 0.126-0.754 and P Value 0.014 which means there is a relationship between postpartum hemorrhage parity.

Abstract

Breast milk is a complex biological fluid which contains all the nutrients that are useful for the physical growth and development of infants in meeting the needs of foster care (physics-biomedical), compassion (needs for affection/emotions, and sharpening (the need for stimulation). Exclusive breastfeeding is the provision of breast milk to babies from birth to 6 months of age without the addition of other food/drinks. The research method uses observational analytic research methods. Analytical research is research that tries to explore how and why health phenomena occur, then analyzes the dynamics of the correlation between phenomena, namely risk factors and effect factors with a cross-sectional approach by examining the effect of breastfeeding. The results of this study are by using Chi-Square p-value = 0.017 there is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and emotional development in toddlers. Conclusion There is a significant relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and emotional development in toddlers with a p-value of 0.017. The proportion of normal emotional development in toddlers is 62.5% while those that are not normal are 37.5%
