Abstract

The education process often produces a dichotomy between moral, intellectual, and spiritual aspects, even though education can make all these aspects simultaneously and in balance. This article is an analytical study of the meaning of verse 11 of Surah al-Mujadilah regarding education that integrates moral, intellectual, and spiritual competencies. Data are tracked and collected from the interpretation of the ulama through books of tafsir, the preachers' explanations, and relevant articles. The analysis was carried out by applying the approach to the sciences of the Koran, the science of interpretation, and educational theory. The understanding of verse 11 surah al-Mujadilah is distorted because of the limited interpreters' competence personally and intellectually and the selection of an inappropriate method of interpretation. The neglect of the moral urgency in education has led to a moral crisis among intellectuals and educated people. The ethical problem is not only happening to ordinary people but also intellectuals. As a result, modern humans who are synonymous with scientific progress are moving towards moral destruction. If morals are broken, it has a destructive impact on the whole. Keywords: Critical Analysis of Education, Intellectual Education, Moral Education

The various subjects taught in the classroom are generally Arabic and fiqh lessons using the al-Dzikro book written by the founder of the Darul Huffadh, KH. Lanre Said and English lessons. The students are motivated to know and master Arabic in addition to understanding the Qur'an and Hadith, as well as to understand various Islamic subjects and books in PPDH. The models for creating language environment at the Darul Huffadh in general are: carrying out ilqo' al-mufradat, al-muhadathah, syu'bah, holding tajassus for students who speak Indonesian and regional languages, qiraatu al-Nasyrah, install Arabic vocabulary and install asalib in every place. As for the role of language environment in Arabic learning, in general, it can be declared successful in achieving the planned goals, namely increasing the students' Arabic proficiency. Abstract

This study examines the phrase īz qāla and its derivations in Surah Al-Baqarah. This phrase is commonly used as an introductory expression in important stories or events in the Qur’an, typically referring to Allah or His prophets delivering a message or teaching. The focus of this study is on the interpretation of how the phrase īz qāla and its various derivations appear in Surah Al-Baqarah. The researcher employed a library research methodology with a linguistic approach, leading to the finding that the phrase īz qāla and its various derivations in Surah Al-Baqarah all take the form of īz ẓarfiyyah. However, in this phrase, īz often indicates an event (maf’ūl bih) and carries a command to pay attention to the event described. The interpretation differs when īz qāla occurs in the middle of a verse, where there are various opinions regarding the meaning of īz in this context.
