Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the demand pattern of vegetables (water spinach, cassava leaves, and eggplant) and the factors that affected the demand of vegetables at warteg restaurants in Bandar Lampung City. The location was determined purposely (purposive method). The number of the respondents in this study were 50 warteg restaurants, taken by proportional random sampling methods. Data were collected from December 2020 to February 2021, taken by interview techniques. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis methods and multiple regression analysis models. The results showed that the average demand for vegetables from warteg restaurant was 8,5 kg of spinach water per week, 7,9 kg of cassava leaves per week and 3 kg of eggplant per week. The average purchase frequency amounted to 3,58 time per week for spinach water, 3,08 time per week for cassava leaves and 1,26 time per week for eggplant. The types of vegetables menu were stir-fried water spinach, cassava curry vegetables, and eggplant sauce. The restaurant owner usually bought the vegetables at the traditional market. Furthermore, factors affecting demand of vegetables are the price of water spinach, the price of cassava leaves, the price of eggplant, the price of tempe, the price of egg, the price of chicken meat, number of restaurant menu, restaurant income and the price of vegetables dishes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze attitudes, consumption patterns, and consumer satisfaction of Kopi Ketje in Bandar Lampung City. This study uses a survey method which was carried out at 16 branches of Kopi Ketje in Bandar Lampung City in January 2022 with 50 respondents. The analytical tools used are Fishbein multi-attribute, qualitative descriptive analysis, and the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). The consumers who made the most purchased were women aged 17-25 years as many as 34 consumers. The number of family members of Kopi Ketje consumers are mostly 4 people and the majority(82%) of Kopi Ketje consumers is students. Most of the consumer respondents (46%) earn an income of IDR 500.001.00 - IDR 1.000.000,00 per month. The results of the study show that the total attitude value of consumers is 90.18 with a fairly good category. Kopi Ketje consumers usually buy and consume Kopi Ketje drinks as much as 250-549 ml per transaction (66%) with most of the frequency of purchasing Kopi Ketje as much as 1-3 times per month (88%). The variation of Kopi Ketje that is much preferred by consumers is the ndeso coffee variation (42%) with most of the reasons for enjoying the taste (46%), however, most of the other coffee drink brands that are often purchased by consumers are Kopi Janji Jiwa (58%) because of the taste. Halal assurance is considered very important by consumers (86%). The CSI value was obtained at 82.29 percent (very satisfied).Keywords: attitude, coffee, consumption pattern, satisfaction.

Abstract

This study intends to interprete the income, the level of household welfare of tofu agroindustry owners and to know the factors related to the level of household welfare of tofu agroindustry owners at the tofu industry center, Gadingrejo District, Pringsewu Regency. The research location is in Pekon Gadingrejo, Gadingrejo District, Pringsewu Regency using a census method. There are 15 respondents who own tofu agroindustry in Pekon Gadingrejo. Data analysis uses a descriptive quantitative analysis that includes the level of welfare according to Sajogyo, BPS, World Bank, and ADB as well as Spearman Rank analysis to determine the related factors. The results showed that the household income of tofu agroindustry owners in Pekon Gadingrejo was before the pandemic of IDR32,214,381.20 per month with a percentage of 97,41% of tofu agroindustry businesses, and income from other businesses of 2,59%. Household income during the pandemic was IDR23,273,759.10 per month with a percentage of 96,63% of tofu agroindustry businesses and income from other businesses of 3,37%. The welfare and poverty level of tofu agroindustry households in Pekon Gadingrejo based on Sajogyo's criteria, most of the group is sufficient, based on the standard of BPS, which is 40 % in the poor category, based on the criteria of the World Bank and ADB, which is a poverty rate of 0 %. The factors related to the level of household welfare of the tofu agroindustry are the level of household income and household expenditure. Key words:  household, income, tofu, welfare

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the attitude, satisfaction and  consumer purchase patterns of Banana Foster cake in Bandar Lampung City. This research was conducted at outlets of Lampung Banana Foster in Bandar Lampung City. The research method is a survey with accidental sampling technique. Respondents were 58 Banana Foster cake consumers who had bought and consumed Banana Foster cake at least once in the last three month. The research data are analyzed using Fishbein Multi-attribute analysis, Customers satisfaction Index (CSI) and descriptive statistics analysis. The attributes used in this study are taste, price, flavor variants, texture, scent, cleanliness, halal’s label and expired date. Data collection was conducted in November - December 2021. The results showed that the consumers liked Banana Foster cake or had a good attitude with an Ao value was 123.12. Consumers bought cake at Banana Foster mostly because of the taste. Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) in consuming Banana Foster cake was in the satisfied criteria (77.17 %).  The highest amount of Banana Foster’s cake purchased was black premium flavor, the average number purchased was 1.24 pieces per household per three months, and the average frequency of consumer purchase was two times for three month. Key words: cakes, consumer attitude, customer satisfaction, purchasing patterns
