Abstract

A School is the educational vessel for the learner, in which one the Teacher acts as a guiding educator and even as a caretaker for each learner to realize the emotional formation of intelligence well. Based on this, not only are teachers of general subjects but also teachers of Christian Religious Education a figure who is also capable of shaping the emotional intelligence of participants in his training. Based on these statements, the study method in the writing would have used qualitative research methods with an approach to literature study. Qualitative research methods that approach finding data through books or journals to illustrate current conditions that are then used as data prepared in the writing to reach a conclusion. As for the findings in this paper are the presence of Christian education teachers who are able to form emotional intelligence learners who appear to increase their academic ahievement.   Sekolah adalah wadah Pendidikan bagi peserta didik yang mana seorang guru berperan sebagai pendidik, pembimbing dan bahkan sebagai pengasuh bagi setiap peserta didik, untuk mewujudkan pembentukan emotional intelligence dengan baik. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tidak hanya guru mata pelajaran umum namun juga guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen adalah sosok yang juga mampu berperan membentuk kecerdasan emosional atau emotional intelligence peserta didiknya. bBerdasarkan pernyataan tersebut, maka metode penelitian dalam tulisan ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan tersebut, menemukan data melalui buku dan atau jurnal sebagai gambaran penulis terhadap kondisi yang sedang terjadi yang kemudian dijadikan sebagai data yang diolah dalam tulisan ini untuk mencapai suatu kesimpulan. Adapun temuan dalam tulisan ini ialah kehadiran guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen yang mampu membentuk kecerdasan emosional peserta didik yang nampak terhadap peningkatan prestasi akademiknya.

Abstract

The Industrial 4.0 revolution is a state and condition that fuels the physical and digital world. A holistic industrial 4.0 presence is connected to human life through sophisticated technological devices. This has also resulted in improved education in Indonesia, what we do know is that there will be many difficulties for teachers as drivers in the increasingly modern world in the industrial 4.0 environment. In regard to the issue, the authors would like to describe the role of the teacher that continues to exist as part of the industry’s implementation of education in Indonesia, by using qualitative research methods. The writer’s descriptive approach to collecting data in literature that explains how the objects written in this article relate. Then described in descriptive terms to express a new understanding. Of the study done in this text refers to describing world conditions for the industrial revolution, the condition of education in Indonesia during the industrial 4.0 revolution and the involvement of teachers and the actions that must be taken to improve education during the industrial 4.0 revolution.
