Abstract

Jackfruit (Artocarpusheterophyllus), is well known in Indonesia, when the fruit is ripe jackfruit can be consumed. After we consume jackfruit, well leave the trash in the form of jackfruit seed, which has not been used by the community to the fullest. The purpose of this study are trying to explore another potential of jackfruit seeds and increasing the protein content of jackfruit seeds by processing  in to tempeh. Another purpose is knowing the number yeast of doses that can produce in tempeh of jackfruit seeds. This research uses 4 treatments (A: 0.25 grams yeast/50 grams jackfruit seed, B: 0.50 grams yeast/50 grams jackfruit seeds, C: 0.75 gram yeast/50 grams jackfruit seeds, and D: 1 grams yeast/50 grams of jackfruit seeds) with 4 repetitions. Test protein content tests conducted at the Laboratory of Food Technology and Agricultural Faculty of Agricultural Technology, GadjahMada University (UGM). Treatment A produced protein average of 2,64%, B produced protein average of 3,429%, treatment C produced protein average of 4,146% and treatment D produced protein average of 5,635% protein. The highest protein content is produced by treatment D.Keywords: Takaran   ragi, tempe  biji  nangka (Artocarpusheterophyllus),kandungan protein.

Abstract

Sampai saat ini ditemukan penelitian yang membahas tentang berbagai jenis mikroalga di air terjun Temam Lubuklinggau kota. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi jenis-jenis mikroalga di kota Temam Lubuklinggau air terjun. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan observasi lapangan kerja. Teknik analisis data adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan identifikasi mikroalga di air terjun Teman Lubuklinggau kota ditemukan 17 Genus dari 4 divisi mikroalga. Mikroalga yang terdiri dari divisi Chlorophyta 7 genusyaitu: Spirogyra, ulothrix, Gonium, Microspora, Closterium, Cosmarium,  Desmidium,  Divisi Xanthophyta 1 genus, yaitu: Tribonema, Divisi Crysophyta 1 genus, yaitu: Chromulina dan divisi  Bacillariophyta 8 genus yaitu: Guinardia, Tabellaria, Eunotia, Asterionella, Frustulia, Surirella, Synedra, dan Navicula. Sedangkan data endukung mengamati bahwa pH dan suhu. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah: mikroalga yang berhasil diidentifikasi di air terjun Temam Lubuklinggau terdiri dari 4 divisi dan 17 genus.

Abstract

There is still a little exploration of biodiversity in Lubuklinggau City, one of which is on microalgae. This study aimed to determine the biodiversity of microalgae found in Sando Waterfall. This study used survey techniques, and was carried out in June?July 2017 in Sando Waterfall, Lubuklinggau Barat I District in Lubuklinggau City. Sampling was carried out in the morning at three stations with three replications. Data were collected by observing the microalgae using a microscope and were then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results showed that microalgae found in Sando Waterfall consisted of 4 divisions which are Bacillariophyta, Charophyta, Chlorophyta, dan Cyanophyta. A total of 27 genera and 30 species were found, namely Closterium sp., Cosmarium sp., Micrasterias sp., Oocystis sp., Desmidium sp., Actinastrum sp., Carteria sp., Ulothrix sp., Microspora sp., Spirogyra sp., Oedogonium sp., Euastrum sp., Xanthidium sp., Navicula sp., Asterionella sp., Eunotia sp., Cyclotella sp., Melosira sp., Guinardia sp., Surirella sp., Surirella elegans, Synedra sp., Synedra ulna, Pleurosigma directum, Fragillaria sp., Tabellaria flocculosa, Nitschia sp., Oscillatoria sp., Oscillatoria limosa, and Lyngbya sp. The most dominant division found in Sando Waterfall was Bacillariophyta which also has the highest number of species. There were five species most commonly found in Sando Waterfall, which are also members of the Bacillariophyta division, namely Navicula sp., Eunotia sp., Melosira sp., Surirella sp., and Fragillaria sp. This finding is thought to be related to the adaptability of these species to strong current of water which is the ecological condition of waterfalls. Water qualities measured in this study were the water temperature of 27°C, the pH value of 7.2, the clarity of 37 cm, and the dissolved oxygen concentration of 32 mg/L. These conditions supported the life of microalgae in Sando Waterfall.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the type of moss in the Bukit Gatan Waterfall Region of Ulu Terawas STL Musi Rawas Regency, as well as Abiotic Factors in the Bukit Gatan Waterfall Area in the District of Ulu Terawas STL Musi Rawas District. This research is descriptive Descriptive: direct observation in the location of the Bukit Gatan Waterfall Area, STL Ulu Terawas Musi Rawas Regency with a roaming method or exploring the Waterfall Area. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. Types of moss found in 2 Classes namely Bryopsida and Hepaticopsida, consisting of 5 Orders namely Pottiales, Bryales, Fissidentales, Hypnales, and Jungermaniales, consisting of 5 Families namely Pottiaceae, Batramiaceae, Fissidentaceae, Hypnaceae and Plagiochilaceae, consisting of 6 Genus Hyophila, Philotiphll, Philotropll , and Plagiochila, consisting of 7 species namely Hyophila javanica, Philonotis hastata, Fissidens atroviridis, Hyophila apiculata, Ectropothecium sp., Taxiphyllum sp., and Plagiochila asplenoides. The Abioic Factor is pH Temperature which is an average of 6.6, temperatures with an average of 27 ºC, humidity with an average of 6.3% and at an appropriate light intensity of 285lux.

Abstract

Danau Aur memiliki biodiversitas yang kompleks baik jenis maupun manfaatnya. Salah satu yang menarik yaitu mikroalga, khususnya dari divisi Cyanobacteria. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat keanekaragaman mikroalga divisi cyanobacteria di Danau Aur. Penelitian yang dilakukan dengan metode survei. Sampel diambil dari 5 stasiun dengan 3 ulangan. Mikroalga yang diperoleh diamati, diidentifikasi dan dianalisis dengan keragaman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, divisi Cyanobacteria di Danau Aur terdiri dari 2 kelas, 3 ordo, 3 famili, 5 genera dan 6 spesies. Mikroalga divisi Cyanobacteria yang ditemukan: Anabaena sp., Anacystis sp., Gelocapsa sp., Lyngbya sp., Oscillatoria sp. dan Oscillatoria limosa. Keanekaragaman tertinggi ditemukan di stasiun 1 (0,11) sedangkan keragaman terendah ditemukan di stasiun 2 (0,01). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa keanekaragaman mikroalgadivisi Cyanobacteria di Danau Aur rendah.

Abstract

Lake Aur has many aquatic biota as well as become one of the mainstay attractions in Musi Rawas Regency. Community activities and lack of awareness of tourists on the cleanliness and importance of maintaining the lake environment have an impact on water pollution. One of the organisms that can be used as an indicator of river water quality is microalgae. The purpose of this study is to determine the types of microalgae Bacillariophyta divisions that exist in the lake Aur, Musi Rawas.The type of research used is survey research. Bacillariophyta Division consists of two classes, 6 orders, 7 families, 8 genera and 11 species. Observed environmental factors: temperature: 290C, pH: 6.7, Brightness: 115 cm and dissolved oxygen amount of: 38 mg / L. Based on the results of research and discussion, we can conclude that: the type of microalgae division bacillariophyta were found in Lake Aur namely: Cylotella sp, Eunotia sp, Eunotia pectinalis, Fragilaria croronensis, Synedra acus, Nitzschia sp, Nitzschia acicularis, Surirella sp, Surirella elegans, Pinnularia sp and Stauroneis sp.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the diversity of microalgae in the Barata Dam area, E. Wonokerto Village, Musi Rawas Regency. This research is included in quantitative descriptive research, this study uses a survey method by taking samples of microalgae in the Barata Dam Area, E. Wonokerto Village, Musi Rawas Regency, then the sample is examined at the Biology Laboratory of STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau. Types of microalgae found in the Barata Dam, E. Wonokerto Village, Musi Rawas Regency, 3 Divisions, 5 Classes, 14 Orders, 15 families, 15 genera and 15 species. The data that has been obtained from the research is then analyzed using the formula (Shannon-winer). The results of the diversity index of microalgae species at station I are 2,479, at station II the diversity index is 2,550 and at station III the diversity index is 2,836, the average diversity index from the three stations is 2,622 the index is classified as moderate. The types of microalgae from the Bacillariophytaceae class consist of 6 species including: Synedra ulna, Cylotella sp., Asterionella sp., Surirella sp., Tablelaria sp., and Rhizosolenia sp., Chlorophyceae class consists of 6 species including: Pleurotaenium sp. , Spirogyra sp., Closteridium sp., Selenastrum sp., Pediastrum duplex, and Microspora sp., Trebouxiophyceae class consists of 1 species namely: Chlorella sp., Ulvophyceae class consists of 1 species namely: Ulothrix sp., and Chyanophyta class consists of of only 1 species, namely: Oscillatoria sp., Abiotic factors found in the Barata Dam Area, E. Wonokerto Village, Musi Rawas Regency, namely: temperature (water) with an average (27.6 C), pH (water) with an average (7.7 ) and brightness (water ) with an average (76.1 Cm).
