Abstract

Individuals often feel difficult and feel unable because of cases found in students. The case is not far from academic assignments. Individuals often ask for help from relatives or friends to do it, moreover some people have seen the results of the work done with their friends. So this causes students' skills to fall into the low category in self-control because they often ask individuals to complete the task. So that researchers need to research the relationship between self-control and academic procrastination. Research method descriptive correlation is used to determine the relationship between self-control variables and academic procrastination in STIKes Yatsi Tangerang students. The population is 184 STIKes Yatsi Tangerang students and a sample of 126 respondents is obtained. The sampling technique used was random sampling. The data taken in this study using google form. The chi-square test, the second sig value of the data is smaller than 0.005, so there is a relationship between self-control and academic procrastination.

Abstract

Hypertension is a disease that affects many people around the world. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), about 40% of the adult population over the age of 25 years has been diagnosed with hypertension. Meanwhile, Indonesia has 55.2% of hypertension sufferers in the 55-64 year age range. The objective of this research is review the effect of progressive muscle relaxation therapy on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Literature Review researchers used databases such as Google Scholar, PubMed, Research Gate, and Elsevier. Thirty related journals were found and included in six journals. Based on a literature review of six inclusion articles that the authors reviewed, the results showed that there was an effect between progressive muscle relaxation therapy on reducing blood pressure by taking actions for 5-10 minutes and performed 3 times a day. The use of progressive muscle relaxation therapy can be used as an alternative/non-pharmacological intervention and can be implemented in patients with hypertension as an effort to lower blood pressure and provide a relaxing effect on the body.

Abstract

Masa pensiun merupakan masa dimana individu berhenti bekerja karena batas usia yang ditetapkan oleh organisasi. Saat memasuki masa pensiun kegiatan rutin, rekan kerja dan pendapatan akan hilang. Dukungan sosial dibutuhkan individu dalam menghadapi masa pensiun. Tujuan literatur review adalah untuk mereview dan mensintesis artikel tentang dukungan sosial dalam menghadapi masa pensiun pada pegawai negeri sipil. Framework yang digunakan adalah PICOS. Pencarian artikel selama Juli 2020 menggunakan tiga database yaitu google scholar, Pubmed dan Portal Garuda untuk artikel dengan desain cross sectional didapatkan 218 artikel. Berdasarkan hasil pencarian dari 218 artikel kemudian dilakukan penyaringan yang digambarkan menggunakan format PRISMA digunakan untuk melihat duplikasi, kelayakan judul, abstrak, full-text dan kriteria inklusi-eksklusi dalam menilai artikel. Hasil penyaringan menemukan 7 artikel yang masuk kriteria inklusi dimana ketujuh artikel menyatakan ada hubungan dukungan sosial terhadap pegawai negeri sipil yang akan menjalani masa pensiun dimana individu merasa berarti secara emosional dengan adanya komunitas atau lingkungan yang mendukung.
