Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has a huge impact on the order of human life on earth. Currently, many Indonesia have been confirmed positive for Covid-19. In the education sector, the government quickly issued a Ministry of Education and Culture circular containing Online Learning to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in school environments. Online Learning certainly has a different impact on parents / guardians and students. Collaboration between teachers and parents / guardians is needed so that online learning can run properly. Moreover, character values ??through morning habituation before online teaching and learning activities can be directly practiced and controlled by parents / guardians. This character development will certainly have a very good impact on children's lives in the future. Research conducted using qualitative methods in which to use valid data was carried out by questionnaires to students of class 9K MTsN 2 Kediri City and their parents / guardians. It has a goal to find out what character education parents / guardians do when children study at home. The results of the research are that some of the roles of parents / guardians in character education are given to (1) Fostering disciplined character education in children, (2) Providing religious character education to children, (3) Fostering honest character education in children, (4) Fostering creative character education in children, (5) Fostering social character education in children. The hope is that this character education will be implemented optimally by children, not only because of this pandemic, but it will be carried out continuously ABSTRAKPandemi Covid-19 memberikan dampak yang sangat besar bagi tatanan kehidupan manusia di muka bumi. Indonesia saat ini sudah banyak yang dikonfirmasi positif Covid-19. Pada bidang pendidikan, pemerintah dengan cepat mengeluarkan edaran Kemendikbud yang berisi Pembelajaran Daring untuk mencegak penyebaran Covid-19 di lingkungan sekolah. Pembelajaran Daring ini tentunya memberikan dampak yang berbeda bagi orang tua / wali dan siswa. Perlu adanya kolaborasi antar guru dan orang tua / wali agar pembelajaran Daring berjalan dengan semestinya. Terlebih lagi nilai-nilai karakter melalui pembiasaan pagi sebelum KBM daring yang bisa langsung di praktekkan dan di kontrol secara langsung oleh orang tua / wali. Pengembangan karakter ini tentunya akan berdampak sangat baik bagi kehidupan anak di masa depan. Penelitian yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif di mana untuk menggunakan data yang valid dilakukan dengan angket kepada siswa kelas 9K MTsN 2 Kota Kediri dan orang tua / wali. Memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pendidikan karakter apa saja yang di lakukan orang tua / wali saat anak-anak belajar di rumah. Hasil dari penelitian yakni beberapa peran orang tua / wali pada pendidikan karakter yang diberikan kepada adalah (1) Menumbuhkan pendidikan karakter disiplin pada anak, (2) Memberikan pendidikan karakter religius kepada anak, (3) Menumbuhkan pendidikan karakter jujur pada anak, (4) Menumbuhkan pendidikan karakter kreatif pada anak, (5) Menumbuhkan pendidikan karakter sosial pada anak. Harapannya adalah pendidikan karakter ini akan di implementasikan secara maksimal oleh anak, bukan hanya karena ada pandemi ini, tapi akan dilakukan seterusnya.

Abstract

The experience of researchers providing three-dimensional material so far, most students find it difficult to understand three-dimensional material, especially about space-building webs. Even though researchers have tried to guide students in understanding the concept of geometrical nets by showing sketches, students' learning outcomes have not been as expected. In teaching three-dimensional material, media is needed that can help students understand mathematical concepts, so the teacher should prepare the necessary media. Meanwhile in society, there are many media that can be used as a medium for building materials. For example, used snack cartons. This used cardboard will be used by researchers as a medium for learning building materials. This research belongs to the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 activities, namely planning, action, observing and reflecting. The data collection methods used in this study were the observation method and the test method. Based on the results of the study, the use of used snack cardboard media in learning mathematics with the Cooperative Learning model of the Team Game Tournament (TGT) type on flat-sided building materials, especially cubes and blocks, can improve student visualization, student activities and student learning outcomes. Cycle I know the results of the research that the visualization of students get a percentage of 57.81%. For student learning activities, the score of student activity obtained is 58.33%. While the completeness of student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 43.75%. In the second cycle, the students' visualization increased from the first cycle, namely the percentage of 83.33%. For the value of student learning activities obtained in the second cycle is 81.25%. While student learning outcomes obtained in the second cycle also increased by 76.19%.
