Abstract

A balanced adolescent chooses activities that contribute to character development, increasing self-confidence, developing socializing skills, identifying passions and making decisions. The main purpose of the paper was to identify some dimensions in the personality structure of adolescents that correlate with other aspects of behavior. The evaluation and treatment of internalizing disorders in children and adolescents has a long and rich tradition in the psychology and clinical psychiatry of the child. However, the use of longitudinal data to elucidate the evolution and outcome of these conditions, as well as their assessment and treatment, is less developed in the embryonic development stage. However, there have been interesting developments and significant progress has been made. Outsourcing behaviors and disorders, due to their excessive or obvious nature, attract the attention of parents, teachers or others in the adolescent environment. However, there are situations where a subclinical, but significant, level of such a disorder goes unnoticed or is listed as a manifestation of the adolescent's level of adaptation. In this way, certain antisocial behaviors, such as theft, lying, destruction, violent tendencies, may remain unknown to parents or other adults. In some unfortunate cases, these outsourcing behaviors are recognized only after their occurrence, as elements of a pathology that culminated in tragic results. Similarly, certain behaviors of minor importance, but persistent, may foresee the subsequent occurrence of more serious or frequent violations of social rules and norms. Therefore, early identification of externalizing disorders at school, in the community, or in clinical institutions is extremely important for intervention and prevention efforts. Abstract

Abstract Happiness is the expectation for every person including teenager. Study explaining that a broken home is a condition when the family is no longer intact. Family disorganization can be due to divorce, the death of one of the parents or problems that are not resolved properly. It could even be because of a third person in household matters, such as parents, in-laws, or the presence of another ideal woman or man. However, parental divorce may have impact on teenagers’ happiness. The aim of this study is to know happiness in teenager whose parents divorced. Data for this research were obtained using qualitative method with case study design. Subject was selected using purposive sampling technique. The respondent was a male teenager with divorced parents. Data collection was carried out through interview. The results showed that the respondent had three aspects of happiness are life is pleasant, meaningful, and engaging.

Abstract

Today, anxiety is a growing phenomenon as people face increasingly stressful situations. Therefore, among the various forms of manifestation, there is social anxiety. This type of anxiety generally begins in adolescence, when the personality is still being formed and when the teenager is increasingly interested in getting confirmation from others. When he is being analyzed by others, a teenager is afraid of failure and is embarrassed when things don't go as they should, he is afraid of being judged by others for possible minor mistakes and, thus, anxiety arises. In other words, people with low self-confidence and lack of confidence in their abilities have low self-esteem and can easily develop this form of anxiety. As we have already mentioned, social anxiety is caused by the fear of being criticized by others, by the fear of being evaluated incorrectly, by feelings of shame, being in the presence of strangers, etc. All these social contexts are the backdrop for unexplained individual restlessness which can lead to physical symptoms like excessive sweating, shaking, palpitations, blushing etc. Self-esteem is very important here because it is very important how the subject sees himself in social situations. Thus, if a person feels unable to deal with situations that are considered difficult and lacks confidence in his own abilities, which means he has low self-esteem, this behavior is very likely to lead to social debut. worry. Therapy sessions help reduce and even eliminate this disorder. There are certain techniques that consist of dealing with the problem until the subject begins to feel comfortable with aspects of normal life that were formerly considered episodes of anxiety.

Abstract

Abstract The creation of quality human development in Indonesia is of course not only in terms of academics, but also based on high moral values. Here the WaliSongoNgabar Islamic Boarding School applies a character guidance system for new students. Even though the Covid-19 pandemic is a challenge for the supervisors, because there are certain restrictions that require more effort in guiding new students. The problem statements are: (1) How is the implementation of guidance and counseling for new students during the Covid 19 pandemic at the WaliSongoNgabar Islamic Boarding School in 2021, (2) How is the character formation of new students during the Covid 19 pandemic at the WaliSongoNgabar Islamic Boarding School 2021, (3) What is the role of mentors and extension workers in shaping the character of new students during the Covid 19 pandemic at the WaliSongoNgabar Islamic Boarding School in 2021 This research uses descriptive qualitative method. With the object of the new santriustadz supervisor and the caretaker as a data source and the new santri dormitory building as the field object, the results of the research are (1) the first implementation of the 2021 new santri guidance is the 2nd year and still has several problems in its implementation, namely about resources. lack of human resources and seniority, (2) The formation of this character is carried out with good habits in daily activities for example clean living habits such as picket every day and community service every Friday. (3) the role of the supervisor and the instructor is divided into 2, namely the curative role, namely the mentor as a person who helps in solving problems and the preventive role, namely the supervisor as the person who prevents problems from occurring for new students.
