Abstract

A rich organization never warrants its member to get wealthy. It will depend on human resources empowering including floor labors that has strategic position in achie-ving organizations goal. Fluctuations of employee’s productivity performance will hardly controllable if the organization had no standardization of work. One kind of standardiza-tion of work is Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that contains technical procedure of activity and it parametric measurement. To analyze trend of employee’s performance ti-me, computer simulation will assist to know the tendency of data that so called with com-puter simulation analysis. The result of analysis will be followed by productivity improve-ment method such as Critical Path Method (CPM). Inexistence of SOP in Balai Yasa PT. Kereta Api Yogyakarta (BY YK) will be followed up by making Standardization of work in the term of SOP using work time standard measurement consideration. By using simu-lation analysis approach that resulting very good performance of employee in BY YK. This advantageous indicator gives information ability of production improvement. By u-sing Standardization of work time and implementation of CPM able to reduce 21% of total time in assembling locomotive or approximately 158 minutes. The combination of both method results critical path of locomotive assembly activity starting from activity A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H ,I ,J ,K , L, M , N, O, P, Q, R,S, T, U,V, X, Y.

Abstract

MULTIFAB is a company engaged in the field of technical companies highly specialist themselves in the field of production, fabrication equipment and specialized structures used in the chemical industry, petrochemical and oil and gas. In the normal process of production, especially in the welding process, its output is still a lot of experience of disability. Efforts to increase product quality and prevent and minimize product failure, this requires an analysis of quality control that is with a chain reaction analysis. From the data processing, as an early stage concept identifiers use problem FMEA, failure indicates that the effects of the highest-rated Slag Inclusion Risk Priority Number (RPN) at 256. Stage of quality improvement can be made using the method of Kaizen Kaizen is the Five-Step Plan and the 5W 1H. Chain reaction from the results of quality improvement. This is done by measuring the productivity of labor performed before and after improvement of quality. From the measurement of productivity, an increase of 0.01 and calculating the cost of reworks the calculation result of Rp 880 956. Based on the results of processing data on improved quality, causing a chain reaction that is after improved quality, productivity will increase and production costs willdecrease because the repair of products will be reduced.

Abstract

The model was tested to permanent employee of Private Colleges wich have im-plemented on line computerization system, with 202 samples wich categorized into cle-rical group as much as 91 samples, non clerical group as much as 111 samples, total ob-served group as much 202 samples. Problem this research do the demographic factors (age, sex, education, experience) and personality (computer anxiety, computer attitudes, math anxiety) have a significant influence skill in end user computing. The test is done in four steps i. e, non respones bias test, reliability and validity test, inter variable correla-tion, hypothesis test with multiple regression and the data analysis is conducted by using SPSS program version 1.0 for windows. The reserach results showed that demographic factors (age, sex, experience) had directly effect into expertise in end user computing. Personality factors such com-puter anxiety (efar – anticipation) ; computer attitude (intimidation) had directly effect to expertise in end user computing. A quite surprising result was demographic factor of education, and personality factors of computer attitude (pessimism – optimism); of math anxiety was undequately significant to expertise in end user computing. For increasing work’s result in environment with introduction of new technology of on line computerization system above, it is considered in decision making recruitmen hu-man resource with related to envollment, implementation of computer training and edu-cation for their permanent employee. The preparation of adequate faciloities was hopped to increase individual performance.
