Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan fenomena dan peristiwa yang berkaitan dengan pelaksanaan Praktek Kerja Lapangan Integratif (PKLI) di STAIN Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan dan studi dokumentasi. Sumber data yang ditetapkan adalah Ketua STAIN Malang sebagai penggagas ide PKLI, Ketua dan Sekretaris serta staf LPM, ketua jurusan, dosen pembimbing lapangan, mahasiswa dan informan tambahan. Pelaksanaan PKLI di STAIN Malang cukup baik dilihat dari segi pelaksanaan program secara institusional, kebijakan pimpinan, persepsi, sikap dan partisipasi mahasiswa dan dosen dalam program PKLI tetapi masih harus ditingkatkan lagi. Faktor penunjangnya adalah dukungan dari lembaga (STAIN), lembaga penerima, mahasiswa peserta, dan pengalaman pelaksanaan PKLI. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah kurangnya koordinasi, kurangnya tanggung jawab orang tertentu dalam organisasi pelaksana dan waktu yang sangat terbatas serta lebih terfokus pada bidang pembinaan profesi.

Abstract

The quality of research and scientific publications is an essential concern in managing higher education institutions. Therefore, this research aims to examine the policies and strategies for enhancing the quality of research and scientific publications in State Islamic Religious Colleges. This is a qualitative study that gathers data from library and field research. The findings show that each university already has regulations based on provisions from the Ministry of Higher Education, including the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) and External Quality Assurance System (SPME), for managing research quality. Additionally, UIN Antasari Banjarmasin, UIN Samarinda, and IAIN Palangkaraya are improving the quality of research and scientific publications of their lecturers with policies such as allocating 30% of BOPTN funds and implementing the LITAPDIMAS system. However, the outputs and benefits of these policies have not been fully realized due to budget absorption issues that limit the development of a research and publication culture. Therefore, developing such a culture presents a significant challenge that requires a long-term commitment and the participation of all stakeholders. The culture-building process should start from upstream to downstream aspects.

Abstract

Implementation of internal quality assurance as a form of quality improvement that leads to improved service and customer satisfaction. This quality assurance is carried out in guaranteeing the learning program to be able to meet or exceed the quality standards that have been set, and to be able to achieve the vision, mission, goals and strategic plans that have been set or prepared. The aim of the study was to determine the quality assurance management of learning at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ihsan Tanah Grogot and to find out the factors that influence the quality assurance management of learning at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ihsan Tanah Grogot. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data obtained through interviews, documentation and observation. Head of madrasa, deputy head of madrasa; curriculum field; student; facilities and infrastructure as well as school administrative staff as the main data source and teachers, parents and students as additional data sources. Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ihsan Tanah Grogot has implemented learning quality assurance management which can be seen from 4 cycles of quality assurance, namely first, mapping in which the madrasa realizes its vision, mission and goals, by compiling annual programs, semester programs, madrasah work plans for quality improvement. Second, fulfillment by implementing the madrasah work plan in improving quality. Third, control by conducting continuous evaluations to improve the quality of education in the planning and implementation process and finally follow-up. The factors that influence the improvement of the quality of education are leadership and management, curriculum, teachers and learning processes, student input, student facilities and the learning environment.
