Abstract

Baning is a village located in Sekucing Labai Village, Simpang Hulu district, Ketapang district, west Kalimantan province. In this village stands the Gloria Baning Indonesian Faithful Christian Church. Based on observations made, some members of the GKSI Gloria Baning congregation understand that the duties and responsibilities of a husband are only to meet financial needs, some say that the spiritual needs of family members do not include the duties of the head of the household (each individual’s business), and some say that the duty and responsibility of preaching the gospel are only done by God’s servants (priests). This is what prompted this service activity to be carried out for the GKSI Gloria Baning congregation as an effort to increase the spirituality of those who were there. The method used by the author in writing this article is interviews and literature to support valid and comprehensive data. The results obtained after the activity was carried out showed a change in terms of; increasing knowledge and understanding and spirituality of the fathers about the duties and responsibility of the head of the family in the household and giving themselves part in the service on the Sunday service.

Abstract

Melakukan kekerasan terhadap murid, suka membeda-bedakan status suku dan ras serta melayani dengan motivasi yang salah dengan berfokus pada kepentingan diri sendiri merupakan pelayanan yang dilakukan tanpa kasih. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah membahas wujud kasih Yesus yang dapat diteladani oleh guru pendidikan agama kristen yang kurang merealisasikan kasih terseut dalam menjalankan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya sebagai seorang pendidik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kaulitatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian wujud kasih Yesus yang perlu diteladani oleh guru agama kristen adalah sebagai berikut: Tidak pilih kasih terhadap murid, peduli dengan murid, kesabaran, suka mengampuni, rela berkorban dan teladan dalam pengajarannya.

Abstract

At present, sometimes in today’s ministry activities, God’s servants experience degradation of faith and character, triggered because they are not strong enough to deal with complex challengs and problems and end up leaving the ministry. This article aims to answer existing problems by discussing a character named Moses. Through his leadership character he becomes an inspirational figure that can be implemented by God’s servants into the framework of his ministry. As for the results of the character of Moses that needs to be possessed is, a gentle heart, loyal to God, humble and relies on God in ministry. This article was written using a qualitative method of library approach. The final conclusion of the writer is that the character of Moses leadership within the framework of serving God’s servant greatly contributes to answering the problems that occur among God’s servants today.
