Abstract

The research objective was to identify and describe the use of smartphone media in the teaching and learning process of students at SMA N 2 Manado. The problem in research is how to use smartphone learning media. This research uses qualitative methods with techniques such as observation and interviews. Unstructured interviews are independent interviews where the researcher does not use interview guidelines that have been arranged systematically and completely for data collection Sugiyono (2011: 233). The results of research in the field show that the use of smartphones as a medium of learning in learning activities greatly helps educators and students in finding references to teaching materials on google, chrome, browser, widely easily and in a short time. One of the media favored by students today is smartphones so that with the help of a smartphone it can increase students' motivation to learn.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the economy and education of children of marine rumuput farmer families in Nain village, wori sub-district, North Minahasa district. This research uses qualitative research, with techniques such as observation and in-depth interviews, the data collection in this study uses internal validation and external validation. Sugiyono, 2010. From the results of this study, the economic life of seaweed farmers is different from other garden farmers, because working as a seaweed farmer has different difficulties for seaweed farmers, starting from the obstacles they face, namely the weather, to unexpected price drops that affect income. they. As a seaweed farming hunt, there are also obstacles faced, namely the results obtained and even not enough income to meet the economic demands of the family. Children's education is very important to pay attention to, but because of the limited costs of parents who work as seaweed farmers.

Abstract

Teenagers are found to often engage in deviant behavior, such as brawls or fights between students, abuse of narcotics, illegal drugs, and some teenagers are often found drinking alcohol. The purpose of this study was to determine the social environment of adolescents in SMP Negeri 13 West Halmahera, namely the family environment, school environment and community environment. The method in this study uses a qualitative approach to understand the phenomenon of what is experienced by the research subject descriptively. Data analysis Miles and Huberman that activities in qualitative data analysis are carried out interactively and take place continuously until they are completed. The results of this study are that parents whose children attend SMP Negeri 13 West Halmahera, especially grades VIII and IX do not pay much attention to their children's learning, children's attitudes towards their school are strongly influenced by the level of attention from their parents, and the low economic situation of the family causes parents to focuses more on earning a living and the large number of children makes parents pay less attention to their children's education
