Abstract

In the modern era like this there is a lot of development, industry everywhere, and technological advances, especially in industry. Industry is a key to economic growth, the growth of people's incomes around the industry and the growth of development. In addition, there is an impact of industrial activities on the environment, especially when the industry is around the settlements of residents. The purpose of this study is to find out the environmental damage caused by industry in the settlements of Karangrejo Kediri villagers. Where in the village area there are many industries that are close to or located in the settlements of residents. The research method used is a descriptive method with data obtained from questionnaire results and observations. The results of the study showed the presence of air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution, the reduction of green land, roads that look hollow and the number of vehicles passing by. The conclusion needs personal awareness and more attention to maintain the environment and maintain the environment so as not to be damaged and favor the villagers.

Abstract

Minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat terkait perbedaan nilai (Sun Protection Factor) SPF pada sunscreen terhadap perlindungan paparan sinar ultraviolet berdasarkan iklim di Indonesia. Banyak kalangan membeli produk luar negeri dan hanya mengikuti trend saja, namun tidak melihat karakteristik dan kandungan yang baik untuk kulit masyarakat Indonesia. Penelitian ini berguna untuk mengedukasi masyarakat tentang manfaat dari keberagaman nilai SPF dan rekomendasi yang baik sesuai dengan iklim di Indonesia. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan pencarian literatur review dengan sampel SPF di pasaran, yaitu SPF15, SPF30, dan SPF50. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah nilai SPF 15 memiliki daya perlindungan sebesar 93% terhadap sinar UV dan bertahan selama 150 menit. Nilai SPF 30 memiliki daya perlindungan sebesar 96,7% terhadap sinar UV dan bertahan selama 300 menit. Nilai SPF 50 memiliki daya perlindungan sebesar 98% terhadap sinar UV dan bertahan selama 500 menit. Hal tersebut memperlihatkan pemakaian sunscreen dengan nilai SPF lebih tinggi akan mengurangi lebih banyak dan lebih lama paparan sinar ultraviolet, namun berdasarkan iklim di Indonesia (tropis) menyarankan nilai SPF yang baik adalah diatas SPF15 yakni SPF30+.Kata kunci: Sinar Ultraviolet; SPF; Sunscreen; Iklim Indonesia
