Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the mathematical communication ability and interest in learning of students based on gender by using predetermined indicators. The population in this research is the Junior High School students in West Bandung Regency and the samples examined is one of a class of 32 students in class VIII Junior High School in West Bandung Regency. The methods used in this research is qualitative descriptive method using the likert scale with the awarding of the instrument in the form of reserved test description to analyze mathematical communication ability and the granting of the now to analyze interest in learning students. Analysis of the results obtained in this study suggest that mathematical communication skills male students and the female is still classified as low. But students male or female students already have an interest in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Poetry is an expression of a writer's heart from his life experiences expressed in the form of beautiful text that is imaginative and has deep meaning. Required in-depth analysis to reveal the meaning contained in it. This researchaims to reveal the inner structure contained in the poem Bukit Biru, BukitKelu by Taufik Ismail. The method used uses content structure analysis which includes theme, feeling, tone and atmosphere as well as message. Results obtained shows that the theme of the poem is in a calm atmosphere, but must be optimistic, feeling.I conveyed the lyrics in the form of an optimistic spirit, the tone and atmosphere showed patriotic and firm, as well as a mandate that upholds optimism. This research is very.It is important to see the meaning contained in the poem Bukit Biru, Bukit Kelu by Taufik Ismail so that the meaning can be conveyed to the audience.
