Abstract

Dalam proses pembelajaran di Sekolah, hasil atau prestasi belajar siswa ditentukan oleh banyak faktor, seperti; faktor siswa sebagai peserta didik yang meliputi tingkat kecerdasan, minat, motivasi, bakat, dan lain lain; kedua, faktor kurikulum, guru, fasilitas, sumber, dan media; ketiga, faktor lingkungan, meliputi letak sekolah, budaya, iklim dan lainnya. Motivasi belajar dan penguasaan tata bahasa sangat berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar yang dapat dicapai oleh siswa. Karena dengan motivasi siswa mempunyai kemauan yang tinggi dan akan berusaha meningkatkan pengetahuan, pemahaman, keterampilan, dan nilai sikapnya dalam mempelajari bahasa Inggris. Kemudian tata bahasa atau disebut dengan grammar merupakan aspek penting dalam penguasaan dan pengembangan kemampuan bahasa inggris. Grammar ini berkaitan dengan bagaimana suatu kalimat dan suatu ucapan terbentuk. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar dan penguasaan tata bahasa Inggris terhadap prestasi belajar bahasa inggris. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey, dengan sampel 76 responden yang dipilih random dari tiga sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: 1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan motivasi belajar dan penguasaan tata bahasa secara bersama – sama terhadap prestasi belajar bahasa Inggris. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai Fhitung = 19.910 dan nilai Sig = 0,000 < 0,05. Hal ini menunjukan setiap kenaikan satu unit motivasi belajar dan penguasaan tata bahasa dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar bahasa Inggris.Motivasi Belajar

Abstract

Learning achievement is the acquisition of knowledge or skills that usually indicated by test scores in the form of numerical value. By using movies to teach can definitely be a challenge, but when carried out in a proper manner, it boasts of numerous benefits. Unlike text, movies enable students to learn visually. This research aims to determine the interactive effects of movies as a teaching learning media to improve students’ learning achievement. The researcher used experimental research with quantitative approach. The sample of this research was 35 respondents, randomly selected from eleventh grade of SMK RISE Kedawung Cirebon. Pre-experimental design was used in this research and pretest and posttest design of pre-experimental design became ultimate choice in this research. Based on data analysis the researcher concludes that there was increase of gaining score of the students after movies treatment. On levels of significance 0.05, the researcher found that t-observed of data is 29.70, and the degree of freedom is 34 which is converted to the t-value of 2.03. Based on the data from the test, it is clear that t-observed is higher than t-value. In fact, t-observed > t-value (29.70 > 2.03), it means that the treatment of movies as a teaching learning media is effective to improve students’ learning achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of students' perception and learning discipline on their school towards English learning achievement, the influence of students' perception towards English learning achievement, and the influence of learning discipline towards English learning achievement. The research method was descriptive survey method, which is a research method that takes a sample from a population and used a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The number of samples were 2 classes from 2 schools, namely the Mulia Hati Insani Warunggunung Private Vocational School, and the Matala'ul Anwar Cibuah Vocational School. The results of this research indicated that: 1) There is a significant effect of students' perception and learning discipline towards English learning achievement at Private Vocational Schools, Lebak Regency, Banten Province. This is evidence by the acquisition of the value of Sig. 0.043 < 0.05 and F count = 8.329. 2) There is an insignificant effect of students' perception towards English learning achievement at Private Vocational School, Lebak Regency, Banten Province, this is evidence by the acquisition of the value of Sig. 0.679 > 0.05 and t count = 0.415. 3) There is a significant influence of learning discipline towards English learning achievement at Private Vocational Schools, Lebak Regency, Banten Province. This is evidence by the acquisition of Sig. 0.038 < 0.05 and t count = 2.869. The result of students’ perception towards English learning achievement is an insignificant effect in this research, due to students’ perception is related to students’ internal and external factors. This factor determines students’ learning outcomes, especially in learning English. Therefore, students’ perception must always be pursued, grown, and maintained by all educator personnel.

Abstract

Infeksi Menular Seksual atau sering dikenal dengan singkatan IMS adalah penyakit akibat infeksi yang dapat tertular melalui hubungan seksual. Dalam upaya menghindari Infeksi Menular Seksual pemerintah mencanangkan perilaku seksual yang aman termasuk penggunaan kondom, yang dianggap sebagai metode kontrasepsi terbaik untuk pencegahan IMS. Hasil laporan menunjukkan jika pengetahuan peserta dalam memahami masalah infeksi menular seksual mentgalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan. Pada kegiatan tersebut juga para peserta sangat antusias dalam menerima materi yang disampaikan. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman Wanita usia subur tentang pengertian infeksi menular seksual, gejala infeksi menular seksual, penyebab infeksi menular seksual, pencegahan infeksi menular seksual, serta pengobatan dan skrining dengan mereka dating untuk konsultasi ke tenaga Kesehatan

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of grammar and vocabulary mastery during learning process towards students’ recount writing text, the influence of grammar mastery towards students’ recount writing text, and the influence of vocabulary mastery towards students’ recount writing text. The total sample of this research is 100 students by using samole – random – sampling. This research conducted at Private Vocational Schools in Cirebon, namely SMK Mandiri and SMK Bakti Persada. To collect the data, the students were given 50 questions about grammar in the multiple choice and for vocabulary mastery the students were also given 50 questions about vocabulary. The result of this research indicated that: 1) There are significant influence of grammar and vocabulary mastery towards students’ recount writing skill at private vocational school in Cirebon Regency. It is proved by the Sig 0.000 < 0.05 and the value of Fo = 94.129. 2) There is a significant influence of grammar mastery towards students’ recount writing skill at private vocational school in Cirebon Regency. It is proved by the Sig 0.000 < 0.05 and the value of to = 2.498. 3) There is a significant influence of vocabulary mastery towards students’ recount writing skill at private vocational school in Cirebon Regency. It is proved by the Sig 0.000 < 0.05 and the value of to = 10.792. It can be said that the students’ recount writing skills at private vocational school in cirebon regency is significally influence by grammar and vocabulary mastery.
