Abstract

This service aims to increase the board's capacity in managing the administration of the cottage. Increasing the degree of administrators in the administration of Islamic boarding schools is very necessary so that administrative or administrative activities of Islamic boarding schools run well and smoothly. To support organizational goals, an admin is closely related to correspondence, recording, compiling, entering data, bookkeeping, setting the plan, and other technical matters. API SW is an Islamic boarding school whose students are students; the students' data must be complete and should be superior to other boarding schools. This service uses a PAR (Participation Action Research) approach. The method applied is through archiving management guidance activities to all administrators, providing excel training, and contributing to the cottage office. And the implementation of the service, the board of the API SW Islamic boarding school can arrange the administration well.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas penerapan teori pembelajaran kognitif dalam pembelajaran Polya terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa di salah satu SMA di Magelang menggunakan desain penelitian eksperimen. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 10 yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen menerima pembelajaran Polya dengan penerapan teori pembelajaran kognitif, sementara kelompok kontrol menerima pembelajaran Polya tanpa penerapan teori pembelajaran kognitif. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes dan observasi kelas. Hasil analisis data menggunakan software SPSS dengan teknik analisis statistik ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok. Selain itu, hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa pada kelompok eksperimen setelah intervensi. Hasil analisis observasi kelas menunjukkan adanya peningkatan interaksi antara siswa dan guru serta penggunaan strategi metakognitif oleh siswa dalam kelompok eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan teori pembelajaran kognitif dalam pembelajaran Polya secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa di SMA di Magelang. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan teori pembelajaran kognitif dalam pembelajaran Polya sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa di SMA di Magelang. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the application of cognitive learning theory in Polya learning on the mathematical problem-solving ability of students in one of the high schools in Magelang using an experimental research design. The subjects of the study were 10th-grade students who were divided into an experimental group and a control group. Data were collected through classroom tests and observations. The results of data analysis using SPSS software with ANOVA statistical analysis techniques showed that there were significant differences between groups. In addition, the results of the analysis showed that there was a significant improvement in students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in the experimental group after the intervention. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of cognitive learning theory in Polya learning significantly improves the mathematical problem-solving ability of students in high school in Magelang. Therefore, this study recommends the application of cognitive learning theory in Polya learning as an alternative to improve students' mathematical problem-solving skills in high school in Magelang.

Abstract

This study examines Public Service Management at the Office of Religious Affairs of Bandongan District. Public service management is an important issue in local government to improve the quality of services to the community. This study aims to analyze public service management practices in the Religious Affairs Office of Bandongan District, focusing on efforts to improve efficiency, responsiveness, and community satisfaction. The research method used is a case study with data collection through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results showed that the Religious Affairs Office of Bandongan District has taken several steps to improve public service management, such as the use of information technology and employee training. However, there are still some obstacles, such as lack of adequate funds and human resources. This study concluded that efforts to improve public service management at the Bandongan Sub-District Religious Affairs Office still need to be carried out. Collaboration between various parties, including local governments and communities, is needed to create a more efficient and responsive public service system. In addition, the study also provides recommendations for further improvements in public service management at the local level. Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji Manajemen Pelayanan Publik di Kantor Urusan Agama Kecamatan Bandongan. Manajemen pelayanan publik menjadi isu penting dalam pemerintahan lokal untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan kepada masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik manajemen pelayanan publik di Kantor Urusan Agama Kecamatan Bandongan, dengan fokus pada upaya peningkatan efisiensi, responsivitas, dan kepuasan masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kantor Urusan Agama Kecamatan Bandongan telah mengambil beberapa langkah untuk meningkatkan manajemen pelayanan publik, seperti penggunaan teknologi informasi dan pelatihan pegawai. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa hambatan, seperti kurangnya dana dan sumber daya manusia yang memadai. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa upaya peningkatan manajemen pelayanan publik di Kantor Urusan Agama Kecamatan Bandongan masih perlu terus dilakukan. Diperlukan kolaborasi antara berbagai pihak, termasuk pemerintah daerah dan masyarakat, untuk menciptakan sistem pelayanan publik yang lebih efisien dan responsif. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga memberikan rekomendasi untuk perbaikan lebih lanjut dalam manajemen pelayanan publik di tingkat lokal.

Abstract

The problem of the deteriorating character of the Indonesian nation is a major concern in facing the threat of globalization and foreign cultural influences. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of character education, especially in tutoring activities, in dealing with this problem. With the Community Asset-Based Development (ABCD) approach, service activities will be carried out in Krandegan Village, Magelang Regency, from July 20 to September 5, 2023. This research highlights the importance of character education in shaping future generations who have positive values. The results showed that tutoring that integrates character education and IT introduction for grade 5 students can instill positive character values, despite being faced with challenges such as student indifference and lack of initiative. This study makes an important contribution to understanding national character challenges and offers practical insights for effective character education strategies in Indonesia

Abstract

Islamic education in madrasah is important to form a generation of competent Muslims in the era of technology and science. The STEAM method integrates science, technology, engineering, art, and math in holistic learning. This study analyzes the application of the STEAM method in madrasah, focusing on Islamic education. The approach to this study uses qualitative descriptive analysis with data collection through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The madrasah teacher and 30 students who used the STEAM method were sampled. The results showed a positive impact on students' understanding of Islamic education. The integration of STEAM science enables the development of critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Students' interest and adaptability also increase. Madrasah teachers need to understand the STEAM method to integrate it into Islamic learning. The STEAM method prepares a holistic generation of Muslims for the future.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of social media in shaping image and improving communication at the Syubbanul Wathon Islamic Boarding School, Bandongan, Magelang. Through a qualitative approach, this research explores how Islamic boarding schools utilize social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter to present Islamic identity, educational activities, and strengthen interactions with the community. The research also highlights potential risks associated with social media use, such as sensitive issues and management of responses to negative comments. By understanding the role of social media in the context of Islamic boarding schools, this research is expected to provide insight into effective strategies in building a positive image and strong communication amidst developments in information technology. The results of this research are that the role of social media in the context of the Syubbanul Wathon Islamic Boarding School is not only limited to conveying information, but also involves forming a positive image and strengthening effective communication. The implications of these findings provide a deeper understanding of social media management practices in Islamic boarding schools and their relevance in the context of religious education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Strengthening character education has become the main focus in the world of education as an effort to prepare the younger generation with strong moral values. This research aims to explore the implementation of strengthening character education in the learning process at Syubbanul Wathon Middle School in Magelang. A qualitative approach was used to gain an in-depth understanding of the strategic steps that the school has adopted in strengthening character learning. The research method involves collecting data through interviews with school administrators, teachers, and educational staff. In addition, direct observation is carried out to observe the implementation of programs that support student character development in the learning environment. The research results show that the implementation of strengthening character education at Syubbanul Wathon Middle School involves several main strategies. One of them is the preparation of a curriculum that incorporates character values into every subject, emphasizing the importance of developing teachers to be examples and bearers of values for students, as well as creating a learning environment that supports character development through various school activities. Challenges faced in this implementation include limited resources and expanding the character education program to environments outside the classroom. However, these steps have made a positive contribution to the development of students' character, especially in building attitudes of responsibility, cooperation and honesty. This research provides valuable insight into effective practices in strengthening character education at the junior high school level, emphasizing the importance of the involvement of all relevant parties, including schools, teachers, students and parents. The implications of this research can provide guidance for other schools to adopt and improve similar programs to form a generation with strong and high-quality character.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the factors that influence female students' understanding of menstruation material, how they learn menstrual material, and the extent to which class VII female students understand menstruation material at SMP Syubbanul Wathon 2 Bandongan. This research was conducted at Syubbanul Wathon 2 Bandongan Middle School with a focus on female students' understanding of menstruation material. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach and various data analysis, collection and validity techniques to support optimal results. In this research, learning about menstruation material for class VII female students uses several learning stages: learning planning, menstrual learning material, learning methods, learning media, learning evaluation and assessment. The level of understanding of class VII students' material on menstruation at Syubbanul Wathon 2 Middle School is quite good. This can be seen from their interviews and written test results, although some students don't understand it and some of the material is difficult for them. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Flipped Classroom learning model in improving the understanding of mathematical concepts in elementary school students. Using a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test nonequivalent control group design, data were collected from 50 sixth graders of an elementary school. The Flipped Classroom model is compared to conventional teaching methods, with students' understanding of mathematical concepts as dependent variables. Results showed significant improvements in both groups, signaling the positive impact of both teaching methods on student understanding. However, no significant differences were observed between the two methods. The study emphasizes the importance of considering a variety of factors, including technology skills, parental support, and cultural context, in choosing the right teaching method. While the Flipped Classroom offers an innovative approach, conventional methods remain relevant in specific contexts. Recommendations for future research include the use of larger samples and considering additional factors that affect learning outcomes. Overall, the research contributes to an understanding of effective teaching practices in basic mathematics education, providing valuable insights for educators and policymakers.
