<![CDATA[Abstract - The development of information technology in the business world is getting tougher. Supported by good human resources, a company management will run even better. One of them is the management of PT. Yogya Indah Sejahtera as a company engaged in a growing retail sector, currently the recruitment and selection process for its employees is still using manual methods in the recruitment process. This can cause several problems, including damaged or missing applicant data, spending a lot of time in the process of hiring new employees, and not ensuring data availability. From these problems the writer designed a web-based new employee recruitment system, in his research the writer used the waterfall model software development method to design an information system and used UML diagrams and CorelDraw x7 as a website prototype design that could be used as the basis for the implementation of the admissions information system design. employees at PT. Yogya Indah Sejahtera is based on a website which is expected to help the performance of human resources. Didukung oleh sumber daya manusia yang baik, sebuah manajemen perusahan akan berjalan semakin baik pula. Salah satu diantaranya adalah manajemen sistem penerimaan karyawan PT. Yogya Indah Sejahtera sebagai perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang ritel yang sedang berkembang, saat ini proses rekrutmen dan seleksi karyawannya masih menggunakan metode manual pada proses perekrutannya. Hal tersebut dapat menimbulkan beberapa permasalahan, diantaranya, data pelamar yang rusak atau hilang, dan menghabiskan banyak waktu dalam proses penerimaan karyawan baru, serta tidak terjaminnya ketersediaan data. Dari permasalahan tersebut penulis merancang sebuah sistem perekrutan karyawan baru berbasis web, dalam penelitiannya penulis menggunakan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak model waterfall untuk merancang sebuah sistem informasi dan menggunakan diagram UML serta coreldraw x7 sebagai desain prototype website yang dapat digunakan sebagai dasar implementasi dari perancangan sistem informasi penerimaan karyawan di PT.
