Abstract

Specially Designed Forest Area (KHDTK) is a forest area designated for research and development, education and training purposes as well as local religious and cultural interests. The purpose of this research is to analyze the potential of Natural Forest in KHDTK Mandiangin Forest Area using geostatistical interpolation method and Testing the most accurate geostatistical interpolation method for mapping the forest potency, especially the Mandiangin hill forest in KHDTK area. The research data were taken by plot size determination technique, stratification stratification with SPOT-5 image, Stratified Random Sampling, Field Survey (observation), Potential Analysis of Mandiangin Forest Standing. The expected benefit of this research is to obtain the accurate description data of a number of geostatistical interpolation methods so that it can be a consideration of the value of related value in performing inventory of stand potential especially for stand case in natural forest of hill Mandiangin in area (KHDTK). Based on this research, Ordinary Krigging and Universal Krigging interpolation methods produce the smallest or most accurate RMSE in comparison with the IDW and Simple Krigging interpolation methods. Keywords ;Interpolation, Geostatistics, Natural Forest

Abstract

Liang Anggang and surrounding areas, Ironwood needs are mostly fulfilled from the Kintap area and its surroundings. The local government has tried to preserve Ulin by making regional regulations regarding the load of ironwood. Tanah Laut Regency with Regional Regulation No. 35 of 2005 has banned transporting Ironwood uses four-wheeled vehicles and allows two-wheeled vehicles to carry the longest 1.5m Ironwood arrears known as Ironwoodmotorcycle. This study aims to find out information about the load of Ironwood from the Kintap Subdistrict area and its surroundings to the Liang Anggang area, namely from aspects: background, transportation equipment, socio-economic dimensions of wood, timber volume and income. The benefit of this research is to be able to provide information about transporting Ironwood to the relevant Service as a basis for consideration in formulating a policy relating to the existence of ulin motorcycle. The object in this study was ironwood motorcycle who crossed the streets of banjarmasin province. The data obtained consisted of 2 types of data, namely primary data obtained by direct interviews with ironwood motorcycle, along with related parties, and secondary data obtained by collecting data from relevant agencies. The results show that if assumed to be the same condition as the number of Ironwood motorcycle and Ironwood supplies from the Kintap area, then since 2005 the average number of Ironwood transported to the Anggang Liang area is around 105,330.50 m3 / 12 years. Keywords: Motorcycle ulin wood; Ironwood

Abstract

Urban forests are trees that stand alone or in groups or woody vegetation in urban areas which basically provide two basic benefits for the community and the environment, namely conservation benefits and aesthetic benefits. Urban forests must be functional, meaning that plants can function in environmental management. The purposes of this study are to identify useful plants, species composition and stand density, potential of useful plant, to analyze plant vegetation in the Batulicin city forest. The object that was observed was the plants in the city forest. The results showed that the results of species composition found were 26 species of trees and regeneration. The highest number of useful plant species was obtained at 14 species and 11 species. The highest useful plant potential at the tree level is 42.71 m³ / ha and the pole level is 36.88 m³ / ha. The highest INP of seedlings is Mangifera idica, Peronema canencens, Mimusps elengi. Rubber, Swietania macrophylla and Peronema canencens  level. Level of Rubber pole, Anthocephalus cadamba and Swietania macrophylla. Levels of Samanea saman, Paraserianthes falcataria and Peronema canencens trees. (H ') contained in the urban forest classified as medium for seedling level 2.89, stake 2.31, pole 2.64 and tree 1.827.Key word: composition; species

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the amount of water discharge and the content of suspension load in the DAS Dua Laut Tanah Bumbu  of South Kalimantan, to analyze the relationship between water discharge and suspension load in the DAS Dua Laut Tanah Bumbu of South Kalimantan. This research was carried out in December 2017 to March 2018. The reseach location was in Biduri Bersujud Village for the upstream and in Damar Indah Village for the downstream. The average downstream discharge is 0.953 m3/second, a minimum of 0.020 m3/second, and a maximum of 13.590 m3/second. The downstream debit is an average of 2.12 m3/second, a minimum of 1.19 m3/second and the maximum is 6.25 m3/second. The upstream suspension content was 0.01 g/l, the average upstream suspension discharge was 0.0001 tons/day, the downstream supply load was 0.1 g/l, the average downstream suspension discharge was 0.0015 tons/day. The upstream determination (R²) is 0.992 from varabel y = 0.0009x0.9931 and the determination (R²) downstream is 1 from the variable y = 0.0009x0.9999.Keywords: water discharge; Suspension; Regression diagram

Abstract

This research aims to determine the value of carbon stock based on the NDVI and make a connection between the value of NDVI and the value of carbon stock. This research was conducted at KHDTK Lambung Mangkurat University, South Borneo. The time needed to carry out this research for four months, from january to April, which includes research preparation, data collection and preparation of research reports.  Estimation of carbon stock calculated from 47% of biomass value with trees >10 cm in diameter on three types of vegetation density. Vegetation density was predicted using the NDVI value processed using QGIS software and based on field observations. The value of NDVI at very rare densities  with the range of value (0.52-0.59),at rare densities with the range of value (0.69-0.77), and at medium densities with the range of value (0.81-0.85). The value of carbon stock in three types of vegetation density each are 3.34 (ton/ha) at very rare densities, 11.61 (ton/ha) at rare densities to medium, and 32.04 (ton/ha) at medium densities. The relationship between the value of NDVI and the value of carbon stock uses the exponential regression equation model y = 0.0304e8.2416x and determination coefficient R2=0.909. determination coefficient R2>0.40 show strong relationships, thus the greater the value of R2 between NDVI and stock carbon are better.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to estimate the potential of carbon in the standing of Acacia mangium Willd in Areal PT INHUTANI III Sebuhur of South Kalimantan. The research method of using the ALOS satellite imagery is georectification so that the image position corresponds to the actual position in the field and to see the uniformity of the sample in the NDVI, a descriptive statistical test in the respective NDVI and Klas diameter. Based on the NDVI classification on Citra Alos in 2012, the land area of the wooded area of PT INHUTANI III Sebuhur is 8,183.18 ha. Results Biomass Expansion Factor (BEF) based on 4 klas diameter with polynomial equation Y =-0.0057 X2 + 0.014 x + 1.2623;  R ² = 0.9621 is a klas 5 – 10 diameter in the total of 1,272, Klas, 10 – 15 diameter in total 1.263, klas, in diameter 15 – 20 in total 1.258 and Klas > diameter 20 totalnya1,226. The result of total carbon potential in wooded areas of PT INHUTANI III Sebuhur is 31,497.11 ton/Ha, so the average carbon potential of 3.8489 Ton/Ha. Meanwhile, the potential carbon (ton/ha) based on NDVI 2-7 according to the logarithmic equation Y = 4.7925 ln (X)-2.0321; R ² = 0.9167, with Y is the potential carbon ton/ha and X is NDVI Klas is Klas NDVI 2 1.0462 tons/ha, Klas NDVI 3 of 3.7918 tons/ha, Klas NDVI 4 of 4.7479 tons/ha, Klas NDVI 5 of 4.7213 tons/ha, Klas NDVI 6 of 7.0632 tons/ha, and Klas NDVI 7 of 5.2875 ton/ha.
