Abstract

The aim of this research was to obtain the implementation of value-based Project Based Learning (PjBL) model toward high students learning outcomes. This research was implemented at high students with 35 people that took the purposive sampling. The Research method used weak experiment with one group pretest-posttest design. The result showed that student’s ability of concepts showed well with 62,85 % students passed and gain index of 52,2 % (sufficient The level of student acceptance of science scores is included in the high category and the gain index reaches 11% (low). Students' attitude based on observation results has a value of 3.75 (very good). The results of the questionnaire processing show that all students experience problems during learning, especially when designing projects. The results of calculations with the t-test show that the Project Based Learning Value Model influences the mastery of students' concepts and attitudes. The results of calculations with Spearman correlation show that there is a positive relationship with a low category (r = 0.2) between mastery of concepts with students' attitudes towards the acceptance of science values.

Abstract

This research tries out to implement Biology Science Learning Using Value Approach to enhance student's achievement and attitude by using experimental research. This learning process is part of Integrated Science Learning Models. It is an innovative effort in education which based on experiences since 1999. Methodology of its learning which applies value approach is based on understanding of practice values, so that its learning has multiple values, that give reinforcement to mastery concepts, and other life values including cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects. Its purpose is not only to enhance student's learning result, but also change student's attitude into human being. Results of the research conclude that biology learning which applies five values enhance concept mastery on Biology, and change student's attitude (Experiment Group is higher than Control Group). The learning process can support implementation of KTSP and National Education Goal that is forming Indonesian human being who has intellectual, skills, and enhancing faith and obedience to God.

Abstract

In order to goal can achieved effectively, optimum, and meaning for student,the strategic learning from each lesson is necessary probed, although with minimumfacility. This learning respect pedagogic aspects so that can decrease difficulty of theteaching learning process in implementation. Religious approach is new paradigm ofeducation, because it as guide for human life in the world, include understanding the conceptscreation secret of science. The concept mastery can develop to other competencesor values. Guide of religion showed that everything is created pairs by God, both it growin the world and your self, and something which do not knowed so as to you think. Base onthe theory, those concepts pairs can collected become a concept pair scheme (BDKapproach). This research tries to implement a BDK approach for achieving to mastery ofits concepts. Design of the research using experiment method, its sampling are students ofsecondary school in Bandung. Its sampling divide three strata, that is high DANEM, quiteDANEM, and lower DANEM on the receiving new students. Date of the research isprocessed to use statistic of multivariant ANOVA to testing learning result, and usingquestionnaire to student and teacher response. Research results concluding that strategiclearning using BDK approach can enhance out-come of this learning on all strata ofexperiment group are higher than control group as significance different, especiallydeveloping 10 aspects of the concepts comprehension. This learning process is likedstudents and teachers, and they want to implement on other lesson, and then relevancewith strategic aspects to understand of concepts and developing process skills, so thatbenefit to innovation of the religious science education. Other factors which influencingoutcome correlating with worksheet of student, NEM, media, and teacher competenceusing question technics in teaching learning process.
