Abstract

Kegiatan ini memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan wacana pentingnya pemahaman tentang kesehatan reproduksi, pencegahan napza dan merokok dan pemahaman tentang undang – undang kesehatan, dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa – siswa tentang masalah kesehatan. Masyarakat dalam pengabdian ini adalah siswa – siswi sekolah dari SMA Negeri 1 Polokarto yang belum memahami dan umumnya menilai sangat rendah arti dari kesehatan, sehingga permasalahan tentang sistem reproduksi, Napza dan merokok akan sangat mudah terpapar. Dampak dari kurang pahamnya informasi tentang kesehatan adalah terjadi hubungan seks bebas remaja, mudahnya seseorang terpapar dengan bahan dan zat adiktif seperti narkoba, mudahnya memperoleh rokok tanpa filter dari pemerintah serta tingginya kasus – kasus yang berkaitan dengan tema tersebut. Kegiatan pengabdian dosen ini ditujukan kepada pelajar di SMA Negeri 1 Polokarto yang memiliki segudang prestasi sesuai bidangnya, baik di tingkat lokal maupun nasional. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini memberikan tambahan informasi dan keilmuan bidang kesehatan bagi para siswa-siswi di sekolah tersebut, dengan harapan akan membuka wawasan mereka terhadap kejadian dan peristiwa yang terjadi sekitar mereka. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini dengan memberikan pendidikan kesehatan/penyulihan terhadap para siswa – siswi. Penyuluhan/pendidikan kesehatan dengan materi kesehatan reproduksi, pencegahan napza dan merokok dan pemahaman tentang undang – undang kesehatan diharapkan dapat membuka wawasan tentang kesehatan karena siswa – siswa baru tersentuh/terpapar sebagian kecil ilmu kesehatan. Adapun pendidikan kesehatan yang diberikan menghasilkan manfaat keilmuan bidang kesehatan bagi kesehatan siswa–siswa dalam perawatan dan pencegahan (sistem reproduksi, NAPZA dan Rokok). Pendidikan kesehatan / penyuluhan diberikan selama 1 hari di SMA Negeri I Polokarto.

Abstract

The puerperium is a recovery period that starts after the placenta is born and ends when the uterus returns to its pre-pregnancy state. One of the physiological changes that occur during the puerperium is lactation, such as the presence of breast milk. One of the efforts to overcome breast milk is by using oketani massage and compressing cabbage leaves. This study aims to describe the management of oketani massage and cabbage leaf compresses with the problem of ineffective breastfeeding in post-partum mothers. The qualitative descriptive research design uses case studies (case study research) with a nursing process approach. The technique of taking the subject of non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach. The research data obtained that the milk had not come out, the breasts were full and painful, the mother felt that she had not succeeded in breastfeeding, the rooting reflex was weak, both breasts looked tense, the nipples were inward and dirty, there was a dam of milk, tenderness in both breasts, 0cc milk production. Nursing diagnosis of ineffective breastfeeding related to insufficient milk supply. Nursing action of oketani massage and cabbage leaf compresses for 7 days, every morning and evening for 20-30 minutes. Evaluation of the action of oketani massage and cabbage leaf compresses can increase milk production from 0cc to 80-120cc. The action of oketani massage and cabbage leaf compresses can overcome nursing problems ineffective breastfeeding related to insufficient milk supply.

Abstract

Postpartum is the period after the expulsion of the placenta until the reproductive organs recover, the postpartum period lasts for 40 days. Problems that occur after delivery are puerperal infections that occur due to injury to the birth canal. To avoid perineal infection, it is necessary to treat the perineum by using boiled betel leaf (Piper Betle Linn). This study aims to describe the management of perineal care with betel leaf with the problem of risk of infection in the perineal wound of postpartum mothers. Qualitative descriptive research design using a case study (Case Study Research) with a nursing process approach. The technique of taking the subject is non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach. Assessment data there are sutures on the perineum, REEDA; there is redness, there is swelling, there are no bleeding spots, there is no excretion, the union of the wound is not good. The suture wound was still wet, there was lochia rubra, odorless lochia, dirty perineum, dirty vulva. Nursing diagnosis risk of infection related to tissue trauma. Nursing actions performed perineal care with vulvar hygiene with betel leaf for seven days, morning and evening for 20 minutes. General evaluation of perineal care with betel leaf can be effective in overcoming the risk of infection in perineal wounds. Perineal treatment with betel leaf can overcome the risk of infection in perineal wounds.
