Abstract

The research is entitled "Character Building for Children 5-6 Years Old Through Children's Songs at Kindergarten IT Flower Hope Samarinda". Forming characters  for children through songs is very influential. It is important to teach songs that are appropriate for early childhood so that their characters grow well. The songs that are in Kindergarten IT Flower Hope Samarinda are intended to instill moral character values, as well as attitudes that reflect a sense of caring, discipline and a sense of responsibility in children. These character values   are poured into songs and can   then be applied to children in everyday life. The purpose of this study was to determine the formation of children's characters through children's songs in TK  Bunga Harapan Kindergarten, and what kind of songs are given in order to form good characters in children in TK Bunga Harapan Kindergarten Samarinda.This type of research is research or field with a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were the principal, teachers, and students at the Bunga Harapan Kindergarten IT Samarinda. The research methodology used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection methods use observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and data applications. The validity of the data uses tringulation.The results of this study indicate that the formation of characters for children aged 5- 6 years through children's songs in TK IT Bunga Harapan shows that the songs that are applied can shape the character of responsibility, discipline, and caring, adjusting songs in accordance with the theme of learning. Songs that contain character values are ablution songs, rain songs, professional songs, I am a Muslim song, Baca Hamdalah song, Lahu Santri Kecil, Clearing song, and Recalling song.

Abstract

This study is entitled "The Implementation of Reward and Punishment in instilling religious values in children in the Islamic Center Kindergarten in Samarinda. In the learning process many techniques are used by teachers to achieve learning goals, one of them is using reward and punishment techniques. Kindergarten Islamic Center is one of the Islamic educational institutions that aims to produce a generation of monotheists who adhere to worship in life by introducing God through sentences thoyyibah and Asmaul Husna using Reward and Punishment techniques. So this study aims to find out how the implementation of the provision of rewards and punishments in kindergarten Islamic Center Samarinda.This research is a descriptive qualitative research that is describing the situation in Islamic Kindergarten. Informants in this study are the principal and teachers. The data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. For the validity of the data using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. The results showed that in the implementation of rewards and punishments carried out in kindergarten Islamic Center reward and punishment is one of the teacher's techniques to develop aspects of religious values and is given to each activity in accordance with the circumstances. Rewards are given when children are able to follow the rules, children are able to complete tasks well, and children are independent and patient. Reward is given in several forms, namely the form of praise, the form of goods, forms of touch and applause. Whereas punishment is given when the child does not follow the rules, does not complete the task properly, is not being independent and patient. There are several stages of punishment given, namely giving advice, separating children from groups in a few moments and transferring children to other classes.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran yang tepat penentu keberhasilan dalam pembelajaran. Kegiatan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak, tentu lebih mengedepankan rasa senang dan nyaman. Belajar yang menyenangkan dapat mengembangkan kemampuan atau kecerdasan jamak seoptimal mungkin sesuai dengan standar yang ada dalam kurikulum.  Model pembelajaran sentra salah satu model pembelajaran yang mampu menstimulus  seluruh aspek perkembangan anak melalui bermain yang terarah. Model pembelajaran berbasis sentra salah satu model pembelajaran yang lebih efektif karena berorientasi dalam bermain sambil belajar. Model pembelajara ini telah diterapkan pada Taman Kanak-kanak (TK)  Islamic Center, Taman Kanak-kanak Islam Silmi dan Taman Kanak-kanak Fastabiqul Khairat. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran sentra dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan jamak anak di Taman Kanak-kanak Kota Samarinda.Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi penelitan  adalah Taman Kanak-kanak (TK) Islamic Center, Taman Kanak-kanak (TK) Islam Silmi dan Taman Kanak-kanak (TK) Fastabiqul Khairat. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan  adalah analisis deskriptif.Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh setelah dilakukan analisis bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis sentra mengembangkan kemampuan kecerdasan jamak anak usia dini. Setiap sentra memiliki fokus pengembangan aspek kecerdasan dan bila disatukan, semua sentra yang didesain dengan berbagai strategi dalam proses kegiatan pembelajaran dimana anak-anak belajar secara nyata mendorong untuk terlibat langsung dalam pengamatan, berbuat langsung menggunakan media yang ada dengan senang karena tidak terlepas dari konsep bermain anak, semua sentra  mengasah kemampuan kecerdasan berpikir logis, intrapersonal, interpersonal, kinestetik, linguistik, naturalis, musikal, visual-spasial dan eksistensial. Dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan jamak pada anak usia dini didukung dengan sarana dan prasarana yang sesuai konsep pembelajaran yakni bermain sambil belajar.
