Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a positive correlation and to correlation investigate between interest in reading the history books with the results of student learning in the lessons of history. Data collection techniques in this research is quantitative descriptive survey method with Product Moment Correlation formula. The results showed that r = 0.996, which means there is a positive correlation between with result student learning on the subject history and correlation coefficient is very strong.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan yang positif serta keeratan hubugan antara minat membaca buku sejarah dengan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sejarah. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan metode survei deskritif dengan rumus korelasi Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa r = 0,996 yang berarti ada hubungan positif antara minat membaca dengan hasil belajar siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Sejarah dengan koefisien korelasi hubungam yang sangat kuat.Kata Kunci: hasil belajar, hubungan, minat membaca
