Abstract

This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 26 Bandar Lampung regency with the aim to determine effect of Gallery Walk (GW) learning model towards cognitive learning outcomes. The sample of this study were randomly drawn were 31 students of experimental class and 31 students of control class from class VIII as population. Research methode used in this research was experiment with the Posttest Only Control Group design. Data was processed using the formula Eta correlation test. The result showed that there was that the effect of Gallery Walk (GW) learning model towards Cognitive learning Outcomes in very strong category with with Eta correlation coefficient of 0.9.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 26 Bandar Lampung dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Gallery Walk (GW) terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Sampel penelitian ini diambil undian secara acak ialah 31 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 31 siswa kelas kontrol dari kelas VIII sebagai populasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain postest-only control. Data diolah menggunakan rumus kolerasi Eta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh model pembelajaran Gallery Walk (GW) terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa berada pada kategori sangat kuat dengan koefisien korelasi Eta sebesar 0,9.Kata Kunci : gallery walk, hasil belajar kognitif, pengaruh.
