Abstract

Abstract Development of the ability to write narrative elementary students can not be done optimally. Therefore, it is necessary to realize the development process of this narrative writing skills better. Such efforts can be done by the use of educational products such as books that can support learning. The scientific approach is an approach whose characteristics meet student learning objectives. With six components in the scientific approach it will produce teaching materials writing quality narrative because it can motivate students to be more active in learning. 1. The purpose of this study to describe the teaching materials oriented scientific approach in teaching narrative writing for elementary school fifth grade students. 2. To describe the effectiveness of teaching materials oriented scientific approach in teaching narrative writing for elementary school fifth grade students. This resource contains six sections, the first is to look at the narrative, ask the second part, after looking at the story, students make reading questions. The third part is to identify or to give the title. The fourth part is to reason or to complete the story. The fifth section tries, to finish the story, and part of the sixth produce or create a narrative. Teaching materials oriented scientific approach is feasible and effective for use in teaching narrative writing for students of class V SD. It is based on the results of product testing, that the value of the average pre-test experimental group was 66.38 while the average of post-test value was 87.15 and prove the value of the average experimental group increased by 20.77.   Keywords: teaching materials, writing narrative, scientific approach   Abstrak Pengembangan  kemampuan menulis narasi siswa SD belum dapat dilakukan secara optimal. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya untuk mewujudkan proses pengembangan kemampuan menulis narasi  ini secara lebih baik. Upaya tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan cara penggunaan produk pendidikan seperti buku yang dapat menunjang pembelajaran. Pendekatan saintifik adalah suatu pendekatan yang karakteristiknya memenuhi tujuan belajar siswa. Dengan enam komponen yang ada pada pendekatan saintifik  maka akan dihasilkan Bahan Ajar Menulis Narasi yang berkualitas karena dapat memotivasi siswa untuk lebih aktif dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini 1. mendiskripsikan bahan ajar yang berorientasi pada pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran  menulis narasi untuk  siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. 2. mendiskripsikan keefektifan bahan ajar  yang berorientasi pada pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran menulis narasi untuk siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Bahan ajar ini  berisi 6 bagian, bagian satu mencermati narasi, bagian kedua menanya, setelah mencermati cerita, siswa membuat pertanyaan bacaan. Bagian ketiga mengidentifikasiatau memberi judul. Bagian keempat menalar, dengan melengkapi cerita. Bagian kelima mencoba, dengan menyelesaikan cerita,dan bagian keenam memproduksi atau membuat narasi. Bahan ajar yang berorientasi pada pendekatan saintifik ini layak dan efektif untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran menulis narasi untuk siswa kelas V SD. Hal tersebut berdasar hasil uji produk, bahwa nilai rata-rata pre tes kelompok  eksperimen adalah 66,38  sedangkan nlai rata-rata post tes  adalah 87,15 dan membuktikan nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen mengalami kenaikan sebesar 20,77.   Kata kunci: bahan ajar, menulis narasi, pendekatan saintifik

Abstract

In carrying out the learning process at school, a teacher should be able to choose and utilise learning models that are in accordance with the learning material. In general, teachers rarely use learning models in every learning process, due to the lack of teacher understanding of learning models that can facilitate teachers in implementing the learning process in the classroom. Actually, there are many learning models that can be used by every teacher in the learning process. By using appropriate learning models, of course, students will be motivated to learn, and this will have a positive impact on their learning outcomes.The main problem in the study, namely "Can the application of learning models through classroom supervision activities improve the quality of learning in students at SD Negeri Tritih Kulon 09?". Based on the results of this study, it is concluded that the application of learning models through classroom supervision by school principals has proven successful in improving the ability of SD Negeri Tritih Kulon 09 teachers in managing the learning process. In addition, by increasing the ability of SD Negeri Tritih Kulon 09 teachers in managing the learning process, not only the students' learning process is more meaningful but also their learning outcomes increase.

Abstract

Breast milk (ASI) is the best primary food for babies. Optimizing the provision of ASI is crucial in child care and in preparing the next generation. The proportion of exclusive breastfeeding is higher among mothers with good knowledge compared to those with limited knowledge. The high proportion of mothers who do not provide exclusive breastfeeding is caused by a lack of awareness of its importance, which leads to low motivation to provide exclusive breastfeeding. This study aims to determine the effect of health education using animated videos on improving the knowledge and motivation of third-trimester pregnant women to provide exclusive breastfeeding at Rumah Sehat Bunda Athahira. This study used a quantitative approach with a post-test design. The sample consisted of 15 third-trimester pregnant women selected using incidental sampling techniques. The results showed that health education using animated videos was effective in improving the knowledge and motivation of third-trimester pregnant women in providing exclusive breastfeeding. The t-test results indicated a significance value of 0.006 (p<0.05), which indicates that animated videos can improve the knowledge and motivation of pregnant women to provide exclusive breastfeeding. The use of video media was proven to be more effective in conveying information and helping respondents retain the material provided.
