Abstract

Globalisasi berarti terhapusnyo batas-batas teritorial antara komunitas, masyarakat dan bangsa di muka bumi. Hapusnya batas-batas teritorial ini mengakibatkan hubungan antara masyarakat dunia semakin intensif dan saling bergantung. Pasar bebas yang merupakan salah satu model paling nyata dari globalisasi telah melahirkan iklim kompetisi yang sudah menjadi jiwa atau roh utama kehidupan global. Roh global ini sesungguhnya telah melahirkan suatu tantangan serius bagi dunia pendidikan kita agar semakin berpacu melahirkan manusia yang sanggup bersaing dalam kehidupan global. Manusia yang sanggup bersaing dalam kehidupan global ialah manusia yang tangguh, kreatif, inovatif dan mandiri.

Abstract

Globalisasi ialah proses terjadinya integrasi hubungan dan kerjasama antar bangsa dan masyarakat dunia dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan yang berdampak pada peningkatan kesejahteran dan kemakmuran hidup manusia. Akan tetapi, globalisasi turut melahirkan budaya hidup individualisme, hedonisme dan konsumerisme. Budaya hidup ini patut diwaspadai dan diantisipasi Gereja karena bertentangan dengan nilaiĀ­ nilai dasar kehidupan kristiani seperti kasih, pengorbanan, solidaritas dan berbagi. Menghadapi budaya hidup ini, Gereja sebagai persekutuan umat Allah perlu membentuk dan menghidupi Komunitas Basis Gerejani sebagai fokus pemberdayaan iman umat dan menetralisir semangat hidup individualisme, hedonisme dan konsumerisme yang terlalu menekankan kemerdekaan, kenikmatan, kepentingan, sukses dan prestasi individu. Komunitas Basis Gerejani memungkinkan umat beriman kristiani menemukan tempat yang tepat untuk saling membantu dan meneguhkan satu sama lain dalam mejalankan misi Yesus yaitu menjadi terang dan garam bagi dunia, dan tidak hanya sibuk dengan urusan, kepentingan dan kenikmatan pribadi melulu.

Abstract

Modern communication medium allows one to easily share stories, establish contact with family members, to thank and apologize. Aware of the benefits of this communication medium each family member should utilize communications media wisely and more humanely. In the midst of this communication medium advancement of Christ's faithful should regard the family as a school of faith and a special communication experience divine grace. Each family who live karinia Divine love is called to give concrete testimony of the love of it. Every Christian family is a concrete sign of the presence and implementation of the tasks of the Church that lives. When carrying out this missionary task, God is always present in the family to bless, sanctify and strengthen family members. The presence of God is happening in real time when families gather to pray, worship and hear God's word together.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country consist of various tribes, languages, customs, and religions. This diversity is a treasure of the country which is worthy to be proud. However this diversity can also lead to a conflict. In Indonesia it has been an evident proof that many conflicts were caused by religious differences. Based on the experience of inter-religious conflicts, anyone as a citizen wish an inter-religious harmony which transcends the religious differences in Indonesia. Inter-religious harmony present at atmosphere of brotherhood and a sense of unity among the religion followers. Inter-religious harmony can also be defined as a process to achieve a state of living in harmony and peace in despite of the differences in religion. By means of the inter-religious dialogue of life, a person can develop him/herself in terms of knowledge and tolerant attitudes in the daily life. This study used qualitative research method directed to answer the research question: How far do the members of the Forum of the Inter-Religious Harmony (FKUB) and all the people who are actively involved, as the informants, live the implementation of the dialogue of life in the daily life, and how far do the main subjects of Nostra Aetate appraise the implementation of a dialogue of life in the region of Madiun? The result of this research generaly reveal that the informants have lived the implementation of inter-religious dialogue in the daily life. the informant to achieve the inter-religious harmony in Indonesia. It means that the main views of Nostra Aetate have been internalized by the most people.

Abstract

Praying together in family is a prayer offered together by the parents with all their children. Parents have a responsibility as the first and primary educator for their children. Parents carry out praying together in the family as a means to educate the children to be more faithful to God. In fact, the christian family seldom pray together, because of the various reasons of each member of the family. This scientific research h used the qualitative research method which directed to answer the research question: (1) What is the meaning and the function of praying in daily life? (2) What is the meaning and the benefit of praying together in a family? (3) How is the frequency of praying together in the family? (4) What kind of prayers are usually done in the family? (5) What is the impact of praying together in the family for the development of the children's faiths? The result of the research in general shows that the respondents have understood the meaning, the function and the benefit of the prayer in daily life. However 50% of the respondents seldom pray together in the family. The respondents knew that praying together in their family can be the means of the children's faith education. Therefore prayer becomes something very important and can't be ignored. The more often families established prayer together, the greater the influence on the spiritual growth of children.

Abstract

Catholic religious teachers are the teachers for Catholic students at the senior or high school. The teachers are called to perform the duties as Catholic religiousteachers. Aside of teaching Catholicism, Catholic religious teachers are carried out their duties as the builder of the faith of senior high school student school.The formulation of this research problem are: who is the Catholic religious teacher, what is the duty and responsibility of the Catholic religious teacher, who arethe high school students, what is the teaching of Catholic religion, how is the impact of Catholic teaching on the development of religious knowledge and faith of Catholichigh school students. While the purposes of this study are to describe who is a Catholic religious teacher, to describe the duties and responsibilities of Catholic religious teachers, to describe who are the high school students, to analyze the content of Catholic teaching, and to identify the impact of Catholic teaching on the development of knowledge and understanding of the faith Senior High School students. The results of the study showed that 3 (60%) of the respondents perceived Catholic religious teachers as teachers who were trusted to teach the students about who is Jesus Christ, God, and Church. Then 5 (100%) of respondents believe that the duty and responsibility of Catholic religious teachers is to teach the Catholic faith, to strengthen the catholic moral values of the students and to teach the students to believe the teachings of Jesus Christ. Then 2 (40%) respondents said that students of Senior High School were students who start to be critical and mature, 4 (80%) respondents believed that the teaching of Catholic religion done by a Catholic religious teacher was aimed to transfer the knowledge related to Catholic religion to the students in order to reinforce their faith.

Abstract

College of Teacher Training and Education (STKIP) Widya Yuwana Madiun is an educational institution that forms Catholic Catechists and Teachers. College students are educated and nurtured to become candidates for catechists and religion teachers in accordance with the Vision and Mission of "Superior and Contextual". Research in this scientific work uses quantitative research methods. Research data is collected and analyzed quantitatively or statistically. The study was conducted on November 15, 2018 (preliminary study) and March 18-22 2019 (questionnaire test) on the campus of STKIP Widya Yuwana. Data collection is done by sharing questionnaires to be filled by college students. Respondent samples in this study amounted to 132 (one hundred thirty two) respondents consisting of 54 (fifty four) men and 78 (seventy eight) women. The technique of selecting respondents used a simple random sampling technique. The results of research data analysis on understanding and apreciation of Vision, Mission and Objectives of STKIP Widya Yuwana revealed that out of 132 (one hundred thirty two) respondents, 114 (86.4%) respondents stated that they were very understanding and live the vision and mission, and 17 (12.9%) the respondents stated that they understood and lived the Vision, Mission and Objectives of STKIP Widya Yuwana. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that, the majority of respondents understand and appreciate well the vision, mission and objectives of STKIP Widya Yuwana. The presentation of the results of the college students' understanding and appreciation of the vision, mission and objectives of the STKIP Widya Yuwana Campus can be improved through socialization at each campus activity.
