Abstract

This research aimed to determine whether there was any connection mental activities in Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model to learn motivation history of XI IPS 2 students at SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2015/2016. This research used experiment with the type of one shot case study. Based on the analysis of quantitative data using Spearman Correlation, it could be concluded that there was connection activity in Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model to learn motivation history.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan mental activities pada model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap motivasi belajar Sejarah siswa kelas XI IPS 2 di SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Eksperimen dengan tipe One Shot Case Study. Berdasarkan analisis data secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan uji Korelasi Spearman dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan mental activities pada model pembelajaran Teams Gams Tournament (TGT) terhadap motivasi belajar Sejarah.Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, motivasi belajar siswa, teams games tournament.
