Abstract

PT PJB BPWC as the manager of important buildings in the Cirata hydro power plant such as dams, dam control centers, spillway buildings, power houses, hillbones and others, in its operation requires monitoring to know the changes and behavior of the monitored buildings. Monitoring is done by observing certain locations regularly and continuously through the aid of tools / instruments or visually. PLTA Cirata installed about 20 types of instrumentation in the dam and underground power house which is used to monitor the security level of Cirata hydropower building structure. Monitoring and maintenance activities are intended to identify early symptoms of movement and changes that could endanger dam structures, other major structures, as well as to things that could threaten the safety of the human psyche so that preventive action can be taken to avoid further damage or loss big. Based on the fifth measurement of seepage instrumentation, inclinometer, piezometer, jointmeter, and crackmeter showed results that are in the range of values below the design boundary so it can be concluded that the safety conditions of the dam structure and underground power house PLTA Cirata are still safe.

Abstract

Marshland is soft soils containing clay, silt and peat. Clay / silt are cohesive plastic which has the properties coherency between the grains and capable of continuously formed permanently with a relatively moderate pressure without rupturing. However, clay or silt becomes inconsistent / unstable to loading, resulting in a high settlement when loaded (instability). Marshland has unstable behavior which is necessary to improve. One of chemically improvement can be done by recovering waste glass bottles and ceramic shards waste as a stabilizing agent. Waste glass bottles and ceramic shards of waste recycled in a crushed glass powder and ceramic powder which serves as a filler and a binder. Based on test results obtained optimum value percentage value addition of powdered glass and ceramic powder is on the ground with a mixture of 10% and 10% glass powder with a ceramic powder curing 7 days . The soil with a mixture of 10% and 10% glass powder with a ceramic powder curing 7 days has a value of water content of 44.81%, 1.40 specific gravity, liquid limit of 56.92%, 30.36% plastic limit, shrinkage limit 26 , 49%, 26.56% plasticity index, CBR 36.33%. This shows that the soil with the CBR value (CBR 3% - 7%) can be used as a subgrade layer for local residential streets or roads with low traffic

Abstract

Abstract

It can not be avoided when the construction must stand on soft soil, then the construction will suffer damage due to subsidence or congestion from soft soil. To improve soft soils as one part of the construction of them is the method of chemical stabilization of the soil. The stabilizer material mixed was 10% glass powder and the percentage of husk ash was 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5% and 10% of the dry weight of the original soil sample. Changes in the characteristics of soft soil and stabilized soils are reviewed based on the consolidation test. Based on the results of the study, the value of the void ratio decreases with increasing glass dust and husk ash, where the lowest void ratio is 0.5328 obtained in the addition of 10% glass powder and 7.5% husk ash. A decrease in the void ratio indicates a decrease in the compression index (Cc) and the swelling index (Cs). The lowering of the compression index and the swelling index indicate that the addition of glass powder and husk ash causes the soft soil sample to become denser. The lowest compressive index and swelling index values ​​were obtained in soil sample specimens with the addition of 10% glass powder and 10% husk ash, which respectively decreased by 35.165% and 75.757% when compared to the condition of the original soil sample.

Abstract

Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pasokan energi, tidak cukup hanya mengandalkan energi fosil sebagai sumber utama. Salah satu sumber energi terbarukan yang memiliki potensi besar di Indonesia adalah tenaga surya, yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber utama pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS). Pelaksanaan pembangunan proyek PLTS dapat menjadi tugas yang rumit karena membutuhkan investasi waktu, biaya, dan tenaga kerja yang tidak sedikit. Masalah penjadwalan aktivitas adalah salah satu tugas penting yang harus dilakukan untuk pengendalian proses konstruksi dan perencanaan yang cermat sebelum dimulainya suatu proyek. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, penelitian ini mencoba menerapkan metode penjadwalan proyek pembangunan pembangkit tenaga surya terpusat off-grid, dengan metode jalur kritis (Critical Path Method). Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa total waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menyelesaikan proyek, berdasarkan penghitungan, menjadi 37 minggu jika tidak ada penundaan. Penerapan metode jalur kritis dapat memperbaiki jadwal yang digunakan sebelumnya dan hal ini akan membantu manajer proyek dalam menangani masalah agar penyelesaian proyek dapat dikerjakan tepat waktu
