Abstract

The textbook used for microbiology and parasitology lectures at Apikes Iris has not been able to construct student knowledge. Students need a lecture material that can help and facilitate them in lectures and can increase learning activities and motivation, therefore it is necessary to develop lecture materials in other forms namely constructivism-oriented microbiology and parasitology modules which are practical and effective for microbiology and parasitology lectures in Apikes Iris. This research is a development study using 4D models. the steps taken are define, design, and develop. In the define stage, syllabus analysis is conducted, interviews with lecturers, and student analysis. At the design stage, module design is carried out. The develop phase consists of the validation, practicality, and disseminate stages consisting of effectiveness testing. After being designed the module was validated by experts and practitioners then it was tested limitedly to Apikes Iris level one students to be exact local B to know the practicality and effectiveness of the module. Based on the results of research conducted, it is known that the learning module is in very valid criteria, namely the contents of the module are in accordance with established competency standards. The module is very practical, seen from the implementation of lectures that have been according to plan and time efficiency. The module instructions are clear, the contents of the module are in accordance with the needs of students and the module has been effective, shown by increased activity, motivation, and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The Study aims to determine the effect of applying the learning model of kontegitivism which is equipped with a mind map of activities on the learning outcomes of students. This research is a quasi-experimental study (Quasi Experiment). The population of this research is the first-rate Apikes Iris students in the Anatomi Physiology course in the academic year 2019/2020. Whereas the sample of this study was Apikes Iris level one local B students as an experimental class treated by applying the Constructivism learning model equipped with mind maps and Local A as a control class treated with conventional models. The instruments used in this study were in the form of knowledge test questions, and attitudes and skills observation sheets. Data analysis in this study used the t-test for knowledge competency and Mann Whitney U test, for attitude and skill competencies. The results showed that the average value of the learning competence of experimental class students was 80.03 better than the control class students who were only 73.91. It can be concluded that the application of constructivism learning models equipped with mind maps has an effect on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Belajar diperlukan bagi setiap orang atau individu, karena dengan belajar seseorang akan memperoleh pengetahuan dan menimbulkan perubahan tingkah laku, dengan belajar seorang anak akan melakukan penyesuaian-penyesuaian yang memerlukan motivasi dan bakat yang dimiliki. Suatu keahlian merupakan kepandaian yang telah ada dalam diri individu yang dapat dikembangkan melalui motivasi yang berasal dari respon lingkungan yang baik. Ketika peserta didik memiliki kompetensi yang didapat dari kemauannya maka peserta didik dapat menyelesaikan latihan yang diberikan dengan benar dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, sehingga peserta didik lebih gampang untuk mencapainya.dalam hal ini motivasi memiliki peran penting untuk mencapai tujuan dengan jalan mempengaruhi peserta didik untuk berusaha untuk mencapai tujuan dalam bentuk tindakan dan tingkah laku sesuai dengan kemampuannya. Bimbingan konseling ikut berperan dalam pengembangan kemamuan peserta didik sebagai motivasi yang mendorong peserta didik untuk mengembangkan bakat tersebut. Bimbingan guru terlihat sangat berpengaruh bagi kelancaran proses pembelajaran. Dalam pembelajaran perilaku guru sangat mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa, sehingga terjadi interaksi dukungan sosial berupa pemberian informasi, perhatian emosional yang membantu siswa mengatasi masalah yang menghambat motivasinya untuk mengembangkan bakat yang sudah ada pada dirinya. Bimbingan konseling yang diberikan oleh guru BK juga membantu mereka untuk dapat mengembalikan kepercayaan dirinya dalam belajar.
