Abstract

Work accidents in the hospital can have 1.5 times bigger risk than other work. The hospital is a complex workplace, not only serving health but also a means of medical education and research facilities.General Hospital M. Djamil with accreditation A has implemented the work safety risk management system properly but not maximal yet. Based on that reasons, thisresearch was conducted to seethe risk management of work safety. This research was qualitative descriptive method with instrumentation used as data collection was direct interviews at Intensive Care Unit, from September to November 2020. The object of the study was the variable that became the focus of study Risk Management Analysis K3RS at RSUP M. Djamil Padang in 2020. This research found that there were 5 types of risk or danger in the ICUdepartementof RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang. These dangers were physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, and psychological danger. There were 6 danger categories in high level and 4 danger categories in medium level, that were: the risk of contracting rabies while caring for patients, the risk of work fatigue and work stress. There were two risk control measures; administrative control and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Abstract

In the processing of oil palm at PT Agro Muko, there are machines whose noise level is 92 dB and the machine is in one building with workers and there is no barrier between the machine and the worker. The purpose of the study was to figure out the description of noise intensity and subjective complaints of the labor of the oil palm processing department. This type of research is descriptive, conducted in PT. Agro Muko, Mukomuko, Bengkulu and conducted in Oktober  – Desember 2020. The population is 73 and all are sampled. Primary data collection by distributing questionnaires by way of questionnaires, secondary data with archives and interview guides by means of interviews and data analysis by means of univariate analysis. The results obtained noise intensity from 4 points of noise measurement obtained 25% ineligible, namely at the engine room point of 92 dB, and 75% qualified at the point of boiler 3, boiler 2, and boiler 1, more than half of respondents with moderate physiological complaints of 64 people (87.7%), more than half of respondents with moderate psychological complaints of 44 people (60.3%) , more than half of respondents with moderate communication complaints were 54 people (74.0%) and more than half of respondents with moderate hearing complaints were 58 people (79.5%) at PT. Agro Muko. HSE's advice is to isolate the source of noise by creating a boundary between workers and generators, setting working hours at a point where the result of measuring noise intensity is 92 dB in accordance with permenaker number 5 of 2018 on occupational safety and health of the work environment and more scheduled and improved supervision of the use of PPE (plug era) at work, so that PAK caused by noise can be prevented.

Abstract

The selection of enzymes derived from microbes has several advantages compared to those derived from animals and plants. One of the advantages is that the growth of enzymes will occur more quickly in bacteria because the cells rapidly undergo division and cell production will be easier to increase if needed in large quantities and the time needed for enzyme production will be shorter. Thermophilic microorganisms are known as bacteria that are tolerant of high temperatures, but on the other hand these bacteria are also able to survive at these temperatures. Where the purpose of research is to explain exploration of thermophilic bacteria. A review is conducted on the state-of-the-art methods using the preferred reporting items for reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) guideline. Bacteria have important economic value in human life. Knowledge in this branch of science is useful in medicine, hygiene, food science and nutrition, agriculture, and industry. Based on the results of macroscopic, microscopic and biochemical characterization, it was found that many bacteria with various types recording to their habitat or place of development, exploraton of thermophilic bacteria was carried out so that they could be useful for the industrial world.
