Abstract

Nurses have a very important role for patients and their profession as providers of nursing care, as clients, providers, comfort providers, educators, coordinators, case managers, communicators, clinical decision making, consultations, medical professionals and reformers. This study discusses the discussion of the role of nurses in providing treatment rooms in inpatient rooms, hospitals and pulmonary hospitals in Solok. This research is descriptive, the sample is taken by comparison of simple random sampling with a total of 53 people. Data was collected by collecting questionnaires with respondents. Research results obtained More than half (67.92%) of respondents took as nurses as nurses, nurses carried out their duties well, most (75.47%) of respondents took nurses as educators, nurses carried out their duties as nurses. role well, More than a few (62.26%) respondents chose as nurses as motivators. To improve the quality of nursing services, nurses must perform their roles well. It is expected by nurses in the internal inpatient room, lungs, hospital surgery, to be approved and increase the role of nurses in providing nursing care (care giver), educator (educator) and as a motivator (motivator). Abstract

Hypertension is a state of increased blood pressure that will provide advanced symptoms for a target organ such as stroke (for brain), coronary heart disease (for heart blood vessels) and right ventricular hyper trophy / left ventricle hypertrophy (for the heart muscle). Hypertension treatment includes modern medicine (medicine) and traditional medicine. One of the traditional treatments is to consume starfruit juice. The purpose of this study was to look at the effect of star fruit juice on the reduction of blood pressure in patients with hypertension in Tanjung Paku Village, the working area of Tanjung Paku Kota Solok Health Center.This research was experimental by using the design of one group pretest and posttest. The population in this study were all hypertensive sufferers who had hypertension in the Tanjung Paku Subdistrict, amounting to 27 patients. Samples taken by using purposive sampling obtained a sample of 5 people. Retrieval of data to determine blood pressure using tension meters before giving star fruit juice and on day 3, which is 2 hours after administration of starfruit juice. Data analysis is done by T-test.The results of statistical tests with the T-test at pretest obtained a mean (mean) of 144 mmHg with a standardization of 5.48 and in the posttest the mean (mean) 132 mmHg with a standard mean of2.74. Abstract

IVA (Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid) is one way to do a cervical cancer test. If the results of the mother's IVA examination are positive (the presence of precancerous lesions), it can be treated immediately. If not, then the virus can spread and develop into cancer. This research design uses a research method of correlation studies with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study was all mothers of childbearing age with a sample of 36 people. The results showed that more than half (52.8%) of respondents had high knowledge, more than half (55.6%) of respondents had a positive attitude and more than half (66.7%) of respondents did not detect early Ca cervix, there were significant relationship between knowledge level p = 0.001, attitude p = 0.004 with early Ca Cerviks.The need to provide counseling in Posyandu or meeting places for mothers in the area and increase socialization activities for the community about the importance of IVA examinations in the form of health media such as TV, radio, or leaflets so that they have knowledge about the risk of Ca cervix and are willing to carry out IVA examinations.
