Abstract

Phytism is an expression of the thoughts of capitalist society to produce duplicating ideas so that producing similar merchandise can generate economic benefits in the form of money. The timeless symbols of the great and noble tradition of wayang Kamasan painting are commodified into physical art, resulting in a struggle between the idealism of a structure that is binding and standard with the idealism of an order that deifies money. Commodification is a feature of capitalism which is able to transform objects, qualities and signs into commodities to be distributed to the market. Commodities that are distributed to the market are the consumption idealism of the tourism industry. The order practice of capitalist society that works in the realm of habitus and the capital and networks that have been built is very broad. Capital relates to the ability to duplicate, while the network seeks to distribute consumer needs with producers. The physical product of the tourism industry which is distributed to the market is in the form of market paintings, handicrafts and souvenirs. To analyze physical aesthetics, the struggle for order structure, and the production of physicalism, theories and methods are used, namely: commodification theory, cultural-industry physicalism theory, and social practice theory. Discussion: The distribution of ethical ethics discusses; capital (money power), habitus (capital society's desire), image and media. Conclusion: Kamasan wayang painting has been made into a physical art alienated from capital society to get money from the tourism industry. The form of fististic art is obscured into a similar new creativity, interchanging the structure of struggle for order and mass production. Findings: Phitism of wayang Kamasan painting is barter oriented to make money.

Abstract

The aesthetics of mangosteen skin color have unique characteristics compared to other synthetic colors. Aesthetic and dimensional, mangosteen skin color displays natural shades such as light brown, chocolate, brownish, red, purple, and blue. Painting using mangosteen peel is a creative process that begins with picking mangosteen fruit from the garden. Coincidentally, the author became interested in scratching spontaneously. When he split a mangosteen fruit into two equal parts, the author used the mangosteen peel to create a graffiti on the canvas. This technique involves spontaneous movements of the fingers, pressing gently, moderately, and sometimes hard on the canvas. The resulting color effect appears naturally, according to the intensity of the finger movement when scratching the mangosteen skin on the canvas. The painting method using mangosteen peel is carried out spontaneously, following the stages of art creation: existence, exploration, experimentation and evaluation. The creation of paintings using mangosteen peel reflects a creation process that uses fine art elements of light, point, line, space, plane, color, texture and composition. The resulting works of art are titled as line aesthetics: Line Aesthetic 1, Line Aesthetic 2, Line Aesthetic 3, and so on. The use of mangosteen peel color as an alternative medium in painting is driven by the need for creativity to achieve works of art that are new, high quality, meaningful and have high harmonious value.

Abstract

Balinese traditional painting, especially Wayang Kamasan painting, has a long and rich history. However, in the era of globalization and modernization, traditional arts often experience difficulties in surviving. This phenomenon is not unique to Bali, but is happening in traditional art communities around the world. With the advent of digital media, fast-paced urban lifestyles, and changing cultural values, traditional artists often feel pressure to adapt their work to changing market tastes. Some Balinese traditional artists are trying to incorporate modern elements into their work to appeal to the younger generation and the international market, as well as to preserve the culture. Nevertheless, this challenge cannot be ignored and maintain the sustainability of this traditional painting art in the face of increasing modernization trends. This creation discusses the creation of pop art by displaying the form of palelintangan which is poured into several mass cultural products in order to form creative and innovative works. In its creation process, this work follows the principles outlined by Hawkins in his book "Creating Through Dance," which states that creating good painting and dance art involves three main stages: exploration, improvisation, and forming or composition. Palelintangan is a series of paintings that depict astronomical information and provide interpretations of individuals' character and destiny based on their date of birth. By studying palelintangan, one can understand predictions about their personality and fortune. The purpose of creating this is to preserve palelintangan art to remain relevant in the future. The ultimate outcome of this creation process is the production of works inspired by various forms of palelintangan with a touch of modern popular culture embedded within them. Keywords: Birth, Palelintangan, Pop ArtAbstrakSeni lukis tradisional Bali khususnya seni lukis wayang Kamasan mempunyai sejarah yang panjang dan kaya akan makna filosofis seperti cerita Mahabarata, Ramayana, Sutasoma, Tantri, Men Brayut, dan Palelintangan. Kata Kunci: Kelahiran, Palelintangan, Seni Rupa PopAuthors:I Made Sudana : ISI DenpasarI Wayan Setem : ISI DenpasarI Wayan Mudana : ISI Denpasar ReferencesGunada, I.
