Abstract

Service quality related with patient satisfaction. Patient satisfaction is an individual thing, every patient will have different levels of satisfaction depend on their respective backgrounds. Patient satisfaction is one of the health service quality measurement which is useful for input in planning, actuating and controlling the management of health service. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence patient satisfaction on service quality in the laboratory of dr. Slamet Garut in 2013. This research is a descriptive analytic study with cross-sectional study design. The population in this study were 100 patients from laboratory patient of dr. Slamet Garut. Data analysis techniques using statistical Chi Square test. Based on the results of this study concluded that the factors that influence patient satisfaction are convenience laboratory, relationships between laboratory personnel with patients, laboratory personnel competence and laboratory costs. Convenience laboratory is the most dominant variable in affecting patient satisfaction toward the service quality of laboratory dr. Slamet Garut in 2013. Laboratory dr. Slamet Garut has a good service quality, seen from the high level of patient satisfaction toward the service quality of laboratory dr. Slamet Garut high. From the 100 respondents, 90% satisfied, 9% very satisfied and 1% are not satisfied for all dimensions of service care. Because most of the characteristics of the respondents have the same background. Suggest to do research with the variety characteristic respondents.

Abstract

There are some weekness we found of direct practice learning on D3 Medical Laboratory Technology Program that affect student analytical skill on hematology and blood transfution lesson, that shown half of the participant had low score. This study focuses on the use of learning video media in improving student analytical skill. The purpose of this study is to determine the differences of the students anaytical skill of the direct practice with the learning video media using. This study use quasy eksperimen design, participants included 60 second grade student of D3 Medical Laboratory Technology Program, they are divided in two classes. The first class use direct practice and the second class use learning video media. Data were analyzed using Paired T-test, the result showed Asymp. Sig equal to 0,256> α 0,05 so that there is no differences of the students anaytical skill of the direct practice with the learning video media using. This study suggest that the use of learning video media coexist with the direct practice in the laboratory

Abstract

Minuman ringan merupakan minuman olahan nonalkohol yang umumnya mengandung gula sederhana dan diduga berhubungan dengan peningkatan kadar C-Reactive Protein (CRP) sebagai penanda inflamasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar CRP pada mencit (Mus musculus) yang diberi minuman kemasan tinggi gula. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental dengan desain posttest only control group yang menggunakan 24 ekor mencit berumur 3–4 bulan dengan berat badan 20–30 gram. Hewan uji dibagi ke dalam empat kelompok, terdiri atas satu kelompok kontrol yang diberikan aquadest dan tiga kelompok perlakuan yang masing-masing diberikan minuman kemasan tinggi gula dengan dosis 0,13 ml, 0,26 ml, dan 0,39 ml per hari selama 10 hari. Pada hari ke-11 dilakukan pengambilan serum dan pemeriksaan kadar CRP secara kualitatif menggunakan reagen kit CRP dengan pengamatan adanya atau tidak adanya aglutinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh sampel pada keempat kelompok memiliki kadar CRP dalam batas normal, yang ditandai dengan tidak ditemukannya aglutinasi, sehingga seluruh mencit (100%) dikategorikan normal. Tidak ditemukan perbedaan gambaran kadar CRP antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan. Disimpulkan bahwa pemberian minuman kemasan tinggi gula dengan dosis 0,13–0,39 ml per hari selama 10 hari pada mencit Mus musculus tidak menyebabkan peningkatan kadar CRP yang dapat terdeteksi secara kualitatif.
