Abstract

Abstract: All librarians and library technical staff want a library that can be managed in accordance with the demands of the time. Where to rediscover the information sought can be found quickly, thus saving in all respects; both energy and cost, at the same time will satisfy the hearts of visitors. Most of the problems encountered during this time are budget problems for libraries, especially to supplement library information technology facilities which are rather difficult to materialize except for advanced universitiesKeywords: Higher Education Library, Expectations and ChallengesAbstrak : Semua pustakawan dan tenaga teknis perpustakaan menginginkan agar sebuah perpustakaan itu dapat dikelola sesuai dengan tuntutan masa. Dimana untuk menemukan kembali informasi yang dicari dapat ditemukan secara cepat, sehingga  menghemat dari semua segi; baik tenaga maupun biaya, sekaligus akan memuaskan hati pemustaka. Abstract

This paper discusses the glory of Islamic civilization in the past through the development of science. Besides that, it also discussed about the condition of the library in Islamic educational institutions in general, which was so concerned and seemed not to get the attention of various parties concerned. In fact, the library is a window of science and information because that is where the user will be able to discover new things

Abstract

Abstract: The development of information technology that is progressing rapidly, has an impact on the transformation of work from manual to the era of all-click. Therefore, it becomes a challenge for institutions or institutions that have libraries to further enhance the competence of their employees in the field of information technology. The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview or additional knowledge for librarians to better prepare for the digital library era. And to anticipate these changes, it must know what competencies must be owned by librarians in developing and providing services in digital libraries. Keywords: Librarian, Digital LibraryAbstrak : Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang maju kian pesat, berdampak kepada transformasi pekerjaan dari manual ke zaman serba klik. Maka dari itu, menjadi tantangan bagi lembaga atau instansi yang memiliki  perpustakaan  untuk lebih meningkatkan  kompetensi  karyawannya  dalam bidang teknologi informasi. Tujuan dari tulisan ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran atau tambahan pengetahuan bagi pustakawan agar lebih mempersiapkan diri menghadapi era perpustakaan digital. Dan untuk mengantisipasi perubahan tersebut, maka harus mengetahui kompetensi apa saja yang harus dipunyai oleh pustakawan dalam membangun dan memberikan layanannya diperpustakaan digital.Kata kunci : Pustakawan, Perpustakaan Digital

Abstract

Abstract : Creating a spatial design in the Imam Bonjol Padang State Islamic University Postgraduate Library, the hope is to be able to become a library that is in high demand by library users or users. Based on observations of the spatial condition of the UIN Imam Bonjol Padang Postgraduate Library it was said to be still not good enough in the spatial planning. Therefore, the author tries to describe a number of things related to the design in building spatial planning at the Imam Bonjol State Islamic University Postgraduate Library in Padang,Keyword : library layout.Abstrak : Membuat rancangan tata ruang di Perpustakaan Pascasarjana Universitas Islam Negeri Imam Bonjol Padang, harapannya adalah mampu menjadi perpustakaan yang banyak diminati oleh pemustaka atau pengguna perpustakaan. Berdasarkan pengamatan keadaan tata ruang Perpustakaan Pascasarjana UIN Imam Bonjol Padang dikatakan masih kurang bagus dalam penyusunan tata ruang. Maka dari itu, penulis mencoba menguraikan beberapa hal terkait dengan rancangan dalam membangun tata ruang di Perpustakaan Pascasarjana Universitas Islam Negeri Imam Bonjol Padang,Kata Kunci: Tata Ruang Perpustakaan
