Abstract

Pendahuluan : Pelayanan laboratorium klinik merupakan bagian terpenting dari pelayanan yang diperlukan untuk menegakan diagnosis.Pemeriksaan yang sering dilakukan adalah pemeriksaan glukosa dengan spesimen yang banyak digunakan adalah serum. Hal ini dikarenakan kadar glukosa dalam serum yang lebih stabil. Jika terjadi penundaan spesimen pada pemeriksaan glukosa maka akan terjadi glikolisis yang dapat menyebabkan kadar glukosa dalam serum berkurang 10 mg/dl per jam. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran hasil dari glukosa darah menggunakan serum yang diperiksa langsung dan disimpan selama 24 jam. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi eksperimental yaitu pemeriksaan kadar glukosa darah menggunakan serum yang diperiksa secara langsung dan disimpan selama 24 jam dalam suhu 2-8°c dengan jumlah spesimen sebanyak 25 sampel. Hasil : Hasil pemeriksaan glukosa dengan serum yang segera diperiksa memiliki rata-rata 119,4 mg/dL sedangkan hasil pemeriksaan glukosa yang disimpan selama 24 jam memiliki rata-rata 84,9 mg/dL. Kesimpulan : Adanya perbedaan antara hasil pemeriksaan glukosa dengan serum yang langsung diperiksa dan disimpan selama 24 jam.Maka dari itu, bagi tenaga kerja laboratorium disarankan agar tidak menunda spesimen agar hasil pemeriksaan maksimal dan akurat sesuai dengan keadaan pasien.

Abstract

The relationship between urea and creatinine with diabetes mellitus sufferers, where diabetes mellitus has high blood levels (hyperglycemia), this condition causes the walls of blood vessels to be damaged, resulting in blockages that cause microvascular complications, one of which is diabetic nephropathy. This research was conducted using descriptive method which aims to determine the percentage increase in urea levels in type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients who are hospitalized at Otika Medika Hospital Serang. The research sample consisted of 31 samples of Diabetes Mellitus type 2 patients who were hospitalized and outpatient at the Otika Medika Hospital Serang in June and July 2020. The examination method used was based on the spectrophotometer method. And this research was carried out in the hospital clinical laboratory installation Otika Serang. The results of the research that have been done found that patients with normal uerum levels were 48.3%, urea levels increased by 51.6%. While normal creatinine levels were found to be 29%, and patients with increased creatinine levels were found to be 70.1%. The test results based on age of urea and creatinine levels were dominated by patients aged 46-65 years, found 32.2% with normal urea levels, and 32.2% with increased urea levels. Creatnine levels were found to be 16.1% with normal creatinine levels, and 48.3% with elevated creatinine levels. The test results were based on gender, it was found that normal urea levels were mostly found in male patients amounting to 26%. And increased urea levels were found in female patients amounting to 35%. Normal creatinine levels were mostly found in male patients amounting to 22%. And increased urea levels were found in female patients amounting to 52%.

Abstract

Borax is a chemical compound derived from heavy metals Boron (B) and is use as an antifungi, wood preservative and antiseptic in cosmetic. The use of boraks as a preservative in food has been banned it is use by the goverment. However the reality is still found the use of borax in food one of them is a meatball. The purpose of this study wich are to identify borax in meatball sold in the Cijerah Market Bandung City. Sampling was carried out on 15 meatball sellers each of 3-5 sample. The samples were identified using a flame test method and reagen test kit borax colour method. Identification experiment result of research meatballs with borax in the samples and test reaction flame no green flame and reagen test kit borax colour method no changes orange colour. So, based on the test the meatballs that are circulating in the Cijerah Market Bandung City negative do not contain borax preservative. So, the meatballs that are circulating in the Cijerah Market Bandung City are safe for society consumption. For further research it is necessary to analysis the nutritional content of meatballs in the Cijerah Market Bandung City as an additional reference and information for the society, and more expanded research area.
