Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of promotion on the sales of Islamic insurance policies at PT. Asuransi Takaful Keluarga RO Riau Agency Pekanbaru. This research was motivated by the development of Islamic insurance companies both in terms of assets and in terms of company contributions that have an impact on insurance policy sales. The formulation of the problem in this study was to determine the effect of the relationship promotion on insurance policy sales. This research used quantitative methods with simple linear regression analysis. The sample in this study was 49 respondents. Based on the results of the partial test (t-test), the tcount was 1.391 <t-table 2.016, so the promotion had no significant effect on the variable sales of the insurance policy of PT. Asuransi Takaful Keluarga RO Riau Pekanbaru. The regression results showed that the promotion variable does not affect sales.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the author's preliminary observations regarding customers' points of view between Sharia Pawnshops, and conventional Pawnshops were the same, some customers thought that Sharia Pawnshops also apply interest, even though the system were different. The purposes of this study were to find out how the Rahn contract, and the customer's perception of the Rahn at the Syariah Pawnshops. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive by deductive, and inductive methods. The results showed that most of the customers did not understand the Rahn, but they believed that the pawn products available at the Sharia Pawnshop and the pawn products in conventional pawnshops were the same. Furthermore, the implementation of the Rahn contract at the Sharia Pawnshop was under Islamic roles because there were no rules that violate Islamic law.

Abstract

People often have buying and selling carried out to obtain convenience, without knowing whether buying and selling is in accordance with or contrary to Islamic teachings. As happened in the practice of buying and selling istishna. This study aims to determine the application of the Istisna contract in the sale and purchase of canoes in Simpang Gaung Village, Guang District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The research is field research using qualitative methods. The system of buying and selling canoes in Simpang Gaung Village is partly in accordance with the istisna contract. Meanwhile, seen in the application of the contract, the istisna contract has not been implemented properly, especially in the agreement on the contract and the supply of goods. So, it can be concluded that the sale and purchase of canoes at the Echo intersection are still not in accordance with the istisna contract
