Abstract

The subject matter that will be discussed on the writing competence librarians ascontributors to and preservation of information as knowledge. This paper to explore the writing competence of librarians in contributing to the wealth of knowledge in historical knowledge. Writing of competence librarians can be done by following a community librarian wrote. This work by using the method of literature study conducted by way of data describing the authorship librarian at the time of filing the number of credits that accompanied grain authorship professional development activities. The results showed that the writing competence librarian yet provide maximum results as a contributor in the dissemination and preservation of information. The work of the librarians should be explored and pursued through the establishment of community to be able to write. Written works especially librarians who are ready to share the results of writing published in a sense as an effort dissemination and preservation ofinformation. The conclusions from this study that the competence to write librarians can play a role as contributing of knowledge, writing librarians same with other professions, yet the number of papers produced by the librarian because of a lack of effort to improve the writing competence librarians continue to be more exercise superior and capable of being the biggest contributor to the treasures of knowledge.Keywords: librarians writing; competency of writing; library; librarian

Abstract

This research discusses about knowledge sharing based on user’s character. The objectives are to measure part of user’s character indicators that supporting knowledge sharing as: honesty, opennes, and responsibel. These can used as tools to improve usability of library and their service, such as: prime services, increasing user skills to access library services, increasing librarian skill to manage all library resources and disciplining the librarians and users toward serve based on user desire.

Abstract

Paparan ini menggambarkan bagaimana keikutsertaan dalam call forpaper dapat mengasah keterampilan menulis pustakawan sekaligus sebagaiajang kompetisi meningkatkan branding pustakawan penulis maupunbranding perpustakaan. Call for paper dapat membentuk pustakawanmenjadi sosok yang berkompeten dalam bidang menulis maupun publicspeaking. Peran serta dalam call for paper berarti menampilkan diri sebagaiprofesi seorang pustakawan yang berkompeten. Hal ini dikarenakan harusmenulis, kemudian menyampaikan presentasi atas naskah yang dibuat.--------------------------This presentation illustrates how participation in call for paper can honethe skills of librarian writing as well as a competition event to increase thebranding of librarians as well as branding librarians. Call for paper canform a librarian into a competent figure in the field of writing and publicspeaking. Participation in call for paper means presenting itself as a professionof a competent librarian. This is because they have to write, thendeliver the presentation of the manuscript made.

Abstract

Generasi muda saat ini yang lengket dengan aktivitas gadget harus diarahkan,diberi pilihan aktivitas yang lebih kreatif dari sekedar pemakai gawai. Salah satunya dengan aktivitas menulis dalam wujud lain seperti menulis opini di media, menulis karya ilmiah untuk jurnal atau penelitian, menulis untuk menikuti lomba, dan sebagainya. Semua kegiatan tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan memaksimalkan penggunaan gawai. Berdasarkanstudi pustaka dapat diterapkan berbagai cara menulis dan bentuk tulisan sesuai dengan kecanggihan gawai maupun aplikasi yang ada di dalam gawai. Aktivitas menulis begitu mudahnya dengan berbekal gawai, menulis dapat dibuat di blog masing-masing, menulis yang dipublikasikan dapat mengikuti kompetisi semacam “kompasiana”, menulis di media sosialtidak sekedar status namun membuat tulisan yang memotivasi, dapat juga menulis untuk nantinya diterbitkan secara cetak. Sedangkan aktivitas menulis dapat dilakukan dengan memaksimalkan aplikasi yang terdapat dalam gawai tertentu, baik yang berbayar maupun gratis..
