Abstract

As we study higher education, the least we can do is contribute back to society. We need to apply the rule of “ Give and Take”. Inspired by our lecturer giving us support and encouragement. We, eight people, decided to visit an orphanage called “Panti Asuhan Istana Yatim Al-Jufri” which located at sekupang as our class’s devotion target is in this area. We donate things such as food & drink, snack, stationery stuff and teaching the kids mandarin language based on our ability. We believe that even though we are not giving them much, but it’s better than no. right ? Seeing the kids smile and laughing is the best satisfaction we get from this implementation program. It may sounds like there’s no innovation, we do admit that. However, we thought that the outcome we get is far more important than innovation that we don’t even have any ideas.

Abstract

In this era of modernization, social media has become a popular platform means of communication and is the choice of the community, social media is also growing rapidly from various classifications and types according to needs. Promotional videos made on YouTube social media are now widely used by companies and governments to promote their products or introduce tourist attractions. The tourism sector has an important and profitable role and has the potential to be developed as an asset that is a source of income for the nation and state. So that video promotion media is considered to be able to fulfil the needs of the wider community in presenting information and conducting promotions that are more interesting and interactive. In making a promotional video that aims to introduce tourist attractions on Karimun Island, the author uses the Media Production Concept (KPM) method which consists of Pre Production, Production, Post Production to assist the video design process and data collection by means of documentation and interviews with visitors and the author uses Adobe Premiere Pro 2020 software in video editing. The results of this study are in the form of a video that summarizes tourist attractions on Karimun Island in the hope of attracting local and foreign people to visit Karimun Island

Abstract

Byzen Store is a business that is engaged in selling kitchen items such as drinking bottles, food containers, jars, and other items with the majority of goods from the Tupperware brand which has been running for 10 years. The obstacle faced by Byzen Stores is the lack of creativity in doing promotions. Applied research methodology is the method used in this research with the aim of finding solutions to problems faced by society, or industrial and business organizations. The method used in designing this promotional is Media Production Concept (KPM) method which has 3 stages, namely Pre-Production, Production, and Post-Production. The tools are Adobe Photoshop CS6, Adobe Premiere Pro 2020, and Canva Pro. The results of this research are in the form of a promotional video containing photos of product from the Byzen Store. The implementation of the research resulted in many positive impacts where the owner of the Byzen Store felt an increase in sales and the Store became more known to the wider community.
