Abstract

The quality of education of the Indonesian state is not so good, so the human resources produced are not very good. Improving the quality of education in Indonesia can be done in early childhood, with the help of parents. In other words, parents take part in the education of their children. Although not the only factor that can improve the quality of education, the role of parents in the world of children's education has a great impact so that it can bring changes to the quality of education. There are still many parents who don't realize how important their role is in the world of education. The formation of comics aimed at parents is an alternative that can be used to raise awareness in parents that their role is very important for their children's lives, especially in the world of education.

Abstract

SMK Harmoni merupakan sekolah menengah kejuruan swasta yang terletak di Bengkong dan memiliki berbagai jurusan yang dapat membantu siswa dalam memulai karirnya setelah sekolah yaitu, Akuntansi, Akomodasi Perhotelan, Otomatisasi & Tata Kelola Perkantoran dan juga Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak. Dengan berkembangnya zaman, banyak cara yang telah dibuka untuk membantu siswa dalam masa orientasi seperti postingan di media sosial dan juga video di youtube. Hal tersebut dapat membantu siswa namun video di youtube tidak dapat menampilkan keseluruhan sekolah dan terkadang ada bagian yang tidak dapat dilihat oleh penonton. Oleh karena itu, kami melaksanakan proyek pengabdian masyarakat dengan tugas membuat video 360 di SMK Harmoni Batam dengan tujuan agar dapat dikenal oleh masyarakat. Kami menggunakan wawancara untuk mengumpulkan informasi mengenai hal yang diperlukan. Kami menggunakan metode MDLC untuk mengembangkan video dan merekamnya menggunakan kamera Insta360 x2. Pada pasca produksi, video diedit menggunakan InstaStudio 360 dan Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018. Video tersebut diimplementasikan di Youtube dan sudah mencapai 131 like dan 50 view.
