<![CDATA[In a socio-cultural society that is pluralistic and still upholds the values of gotong royong or customs in general that appear on the surface, there is no problem that means anything else until it leads to the issue of contestation. This can be seen at a glance in the community in Jatipurno Wonogiri District. However, the reality is that in the midst of the existing diversity, both internal and inter-religious diversity, various problems are often found that alternate between individual, social and institutional issues. The main problem that researchers want to reveal about diversity in Jatipurno District is the issue of contestation in seizing religious truth. In this study, the author wants to reveal two main issues. First, how the socio-historical arena (field) of the community in Jatipurno sub-district plays its role in seizing religious truth. Second, how each contestant plays a capital symbol to reach a habitus in society. To uncovering these two problems, researcher used a sociological approach from Pierre Bourdieu's thinking with a qualitative type of research. From the results of the analysis, it can be seen that although socio-historically the people in Jatipurno District come from the same ethnicity and race, due to the different ideological issues involved, the elites and their members have a desire to maintain their existence and increase the number of their religious organization communities. Before playing the capital symbol, each uses the arena, which the researcher simplifies into three, namely; the arena of institutions, communities and bureaucratic institutions, they use this continuously with a series of methods to form a habitus in society which in the end they play with the various capitals they have.[Dalam sosiokultural masyarakat yang majemuk dan masih menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai gotong royong atau pun adat istiadat secara umum yang tampak dipermukaan tidaklah terdapat suatu persoalan yang berarti apa lagi sampai mengarah pada persoalan kontestasi. Hal inilah sepintas yang terlihat pada masyarakat di Kecamatan Jatipurno Wonogiri namun, realitanya ditengah keberagaman yang ada, baik keberagaman interen umat beragama ataupun antar umat beragama sering sekali ditemukan berbagai problem yang silih berganti baik yang berhubungan dengan persoalan individu, sosial kemasyarakatan maupun institusi. Persoalan pokok yang ingin peneliti ungkap terhadap keberagaman di Kecamatan Jatipurno adalah Persoalan Kontestasi dalam merebut kebenaran agama. Dalam penelitian ini penulis hendak menggungkap dua pokok persoalan pertama, bagaimana sosio historis arena (field) masyarakat di kecamatan Jatipurno dalam memainkan perannya dalam merebut kebenaran agama, kedua adalah bagaimana masing-masing kontestan memainkan capital simbol untuk menggapai sebuah Habitus dalam sosial masyarakat. Untung mengungkap kedua persoalan tersebut peneliti menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi dari pemikiran Pierre Bourdieu dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Dari hasil analisa dapat diketahui bahwa walaupun secara sosio historis masyarakat di Kecamatan Jatipurno berasal dari suku maupun ras yang sama namun karena persoalan ideologi yang masuk berbeda – beda, sehingga para elite dan anggotanya memiliki hasrat untuk mempertahankan eksistensi dan menambah jumlah komunitas organisasi keagamannya. Sebelum memainkan capital simbol masing-masing menggunakan arena, yang peneliti sederhanakan menjadi tiga yaitu ; arena institusi, komunitas dan lembaga birokrasi, hal ini mereka gunakan secara terus menerus dengan serangkaian metode untuk membentuk suatu habitus dalam masyarakat yang pada akhirnya mereka memainkan berbagai modal capital yang mereka miliki.]]]>
