Abstract

Instruments in the capital markets are often used for investing is stock. Investors who want to invest in the shares of a certain profit level of investment is called the stock return . Increase or decrease in the acquisition of the stock return is determined by the investor company's projected financial performance in the financial statements. The purpose of this study to determine the significance of the simultaneous effect of both financial performance and partial that views of the level of liquidity, solvency, profitability, and the market valuation of the stock return on the company's food and beverage sector in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2011 to 2015 . Based on the results of simultaneous testing can be seen that the company's financial performance has a significant impact on stock returns. Meanwhile, through a partial test results show that the only solvency variable has a significant impact on stock returns, while other financial performance variables showed no influence on stock returns. Keywords : stock returns, liquidity, solvency, profitability, market valuation

Abstract

In all of applications of various kinds of tools at management field there are many variances have been found out.There is a tendency among people to leave many tools that have been known and used in the past by the upcoming new ones found later on in the progress. One of them is the so called SWOT Analysis.But this analysis that practically have been widely deemed as old fashioned actually have been used very successfully until today. At the 80 decades this analysis have shown that it had helped such a big and worlwidely company named Apple Computer Company saved from its fall by the reemergence of IBM who survived to produce also the personal computers.The SWOT Analysis is a very practical tool. It does not need a special or sophisticated equipment. It also does not require any special trained personnel to work with and it is very easily understood by everyone.This combined comparison between the theory and the strategic applications of SWOT Analysis is written by explorative method, confirming the great necessity still needed up to now about the daily usage.The analysis comprises the big two types named the Traditional one and the Matrix type. Abstract

Thus in wide-explained numbers of wording the formulation of Long-Term Planning as one of the very important milestones in Strategy Formulation we can read in some books and publications. But it is to be a great wonder that the formulation of Short-Term Planning never explained in all publications. Notwithstandingly we know that the formulation of Short-Term Planning is yet another very important milestones.It is impossible to have the enshaped Long-Term Planning to be realized without a neat formulation of the Short-Term Planning. Those long-termed shape will only be an empty dream.So far by practices the formulation of Short-Term Planning is done by improvisation headed by key-personnel. Such as implementing the plan as the one that has ever be implemented, or by gradual timely planning and evaluation, or by Expert opinions. These could endanger the Long-Term Planning due to the actual change and the grip of actual conditions may occur anytime in the progres.Thus by this journal two sets of formulation suggested to be proposed, avoiding the dangers may come by improvisation.
