Abstract

Kirinyuh (Chromolaena odorata L.) adalah salah satu gulma dominan di perkebunan kelapa sawit. Gulma ini mengandung senyawa-senyawa kimia yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan aktif herbisida, seperti fenol, alkaloid dan tanin. Umumnya, kegiatan pengendalian gulma secara manual meninggalkan limbah gulma dalam jumlah yang besar yang dapat dimanfaatkan kembali dengan mengolahnya menjadi ekstrak melalui proses maserasi dan digunakan sebagai bioherbisida. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan alternatif bahan organik sebagai bioherbisida pra tumbuh, mengetahui pengaruh bioherbisida pra tumbuh kirinyuh, mendapatkan konsentrasi bioherbisida pra tumbuh terbaik dan mengetahui kandungan senyawa kirinyuh dalam pengaplikasianya. Penelitian ini disusun dalam rancangan ancak lengkap (RAL), yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan, yaitu A0 (kontrol), A1 (glifosat 1%), A2 (ekstrak bioherbisida 1%), A3 (ekstrak bioherbisida 2%) dan A4 (herbisida nabati 3%). Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 2 kali sehingga terdapat 10 unit percobaan. Data dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam dan uji lanjut DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa gulma kirinyuh dapat dijadikan alternatif bahan bioherbisida pra tumbuh untuk pengendalian gulma di areal perkebunan kelapa sawit. Pemberian bioherbisida pra tumbuh ekstrak kirinyuh berpengaruh nyata terhadap daya tumbuh gulma dan biomassa. Konsentrasi ekstrak kirinyuh terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan ekstrak 3% dan berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan herbisida glifosat dan kontrol.

Abstract

Metisa plana is a pests that damage palm oil, which must be controlled because it can reduce the production of palm oil plantation. This research purpose to determine the benefit of tubal root extract as bioinsecticide for Metisa plana in the palm oil plantation. The research was conducted on January to April, 2017. The research was carried out at the Afdeling Alfa Nanuah Estate, PT Tanjung Sawit Abadi, Lamandau District, Central Kalimantan Province. The research was conducted using CRD one factor for mortality and time parameters. The treatment in the research was in the form of tubal root bioinsecticide application with three treatments, ie: A1 5 gr/100 ml of aquades; A2 10 gr/100 ml of aquades; and A3 15 gr/100 aquades. Each treatment was repeated three times so that there were nine experimental samples, while for toxicity parameters using a descriptive analysis design. The result showed that control using tubal root extract as a bioinsecticide of Metisa plana was more effective by using 15 gr/100 ml of aquades with a mortality time of five minutes and the number of Metisa plana that died 10 from each sample.

Abstract

This research study purpose to determine whether there is a significant influence of motivation and work performance appraisal on employee job satisfaction at PT PA Rubber Indonesia Jaya. There are three hypotheses tested in this study. First there is a positive influence of motivation on employee job satisfaction, secondly there is a positive influence on job performance assessment on employee job satisfaction, thirdly there is a positive influence of motivation and work performance assessment together on employee job satisfaction. The population of this research were employees of the company, ie 160 people, while the sample was 114 people taken from the population randomly using simple random sampling technique. Data research instruments use three types of tools, namely questionnaires that use a likert scale. The questionnaire was prepared based on the construction of various theories. Data analysis was carried out at 95% confidence level. The result is significantly proven all the existing hypotheses. So the results of this study inform that the motivation and assessment of work performance variables are important factors in increasing employee job satisfaction at PT PA Rubber Indonesia Jaya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 23 Februari sampai tanggal 1 maret 2011, bertempat di perkebunan kelapa sawit PT Buana Karya Bhakti yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Satui, Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu, Provinsi Kalimatan Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan potensi kayu ulin sebagai bahan baku titi panen di perkebunan kelapa sawit. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Field Study yaitu metode yang digunakan dengan cara melakukan kegiatan praktek/kajian terapan langsung di lapangan untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan yang mendalam tentang menggunakan kayu ulin sebagai bahan baku titi panen. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi : identifikasi, persiapan peralatan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan terlihat bahwa Kayu ulin dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai titi panen di perkebunan kelapa sawit. Jika kayu ulin tersedia di lapangan maka biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk mendapatkan satu titi panen dengan ukuran 4 m, lebar 20 cm, dan tebal 10 cm adalah Rp. 30.000. Jika kayu ulin tidak tersedia di lapangan maka biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk mendapatkan satu titi panen dengan ukuran 4 m, lebar 20 cm, dan tebal 10 cm adalah Rp. 104.000.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari sampai April 2011. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit PT. Daria Dharma Pratama yang berada di Provinsi Bengkulu, tepatnya di Kebun Air Berau). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui teknik perbanyakan tanaman penutup tanah (Mucuna bracteata) dengan metode runduk gulung dan untuk mengetahui perbandingan metode runduk gulung dibanding metode lainnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Field Application secara langsung. Metode runduk gulung dilakukan pada sepuluh tanaman Mucuna bracteata yang berumur 4 bulan di lapangan. Pelaksanaan ini meliputi pemilihan batang Mucuna yang akan diperbanyak, penyediaan media tanam, proses perundukkan sampai dengan proses pemanenan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan terlihat bahwa Teknik perbanyakan Mucuna bracteata dengan cara runduk gulung cukup efektif dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan Mucuna bracteata di perkebunan kelapa sawit. Perbandingan teknik runduk gulung dibanding teknik lainnya menunjukkan bahwa runduk gulung lebih efektif dibanding teknik lainnya untuk memperbanyak tanaman penutup tanah (Mucuna bracteata).

Abstract

This study discusses the comparison of transportation of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) between dump truck and ordinary truck during the time the plants are produced, conducted at PT Sinar Dinamika Kapuas, Sintang District, West Kalimantan Province, since April 2015. The purpose of this study is to find out the advantage and disadvantage of dump truck and ordinary truck, and to compare them as a mean of transporting FFB on palm oil plantation. This study used 10 trucks as samples, consisting of 5 dump trucks and 5 ordinary trucks. Data gathering was taken from the FFB daily daily report data for the April 2015 period. The result of this study showed that dump truck transported an average of 8,438 kg FFB/rit and ordinary truck of 9,139 kg FFB/rit. The income of the dump truck is Rp 13,046,196 and the ordinary truck is Rp 14,161,532. The income from the dump truck is Rp 821,695 to PT SDK, Rp 706,388 to PT BPJ and Rp 805,147 to PT KSP. The revenue from the ordinary truck sent Rp 857,335 to PT SDK, Rp 749,038 to PT BPJ and Rp 860,415 to PT KSP. The difference in income sent Rp 35,640 to PT SDK, Rp 42,650 to PT BPJ and Rp 55,286 to PT KSP. The difference occurs when loading in the loading ramp because the ordinary truck cost Rp 50,000/rit.

Abstract

Larvae of Menochilus sexmaculatus Fabr. has an important role in the aspect of biological control by using natural enemies (predators) in a sustainable and sustainable manner. This study aims to determine the interaction and predation of the larvae of Menochilus sexmaculatus Fabr. against Aphis gossypii Glover in the pre-nursery area of ??Elaeis guineensis Jacq. at the nursery stage of oil palm plantations. This research was conducted in an oil palm nursery area of ??Karapyak village, Cintamekar Serangpanjang, Subang, West Java. This research is an exploratory research conducted in February – March 2022. The results of the study indicate that Menochilus sexmaculatus Fabr. has the potential to be used as a biological agent. Menochilus sexmaculatus Fabr. has a life cycle that can be adapted in oil palm plantation areas, especially nursery areas. During the 15 minute observation period a larva of Menochilus sexmaculatus Fabr. on average the most capable of preying on the nymph stage of Aphis gossypii Glover as many as 8.4 tails. This was followed by 4 wingless imago stages, 2.2 egg stages and 0.8 winged imago stages. Utilization of natural enemies of the larvae of Menochilus sexmaculatus Fabr. Aphis gossypii Glover is very important to support the success of environmentally sound and sustainable plant pest control in oil palm nurseries.

Abstract

Controlled Droplet Application (CDA) is a herbicide spraying tool that uses a battery dynamo power and a disc-shaped nozzle, which can dispense a more even spray solution. Spraying activities will also be completed faster with high work performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of the knapsack sprayer and CDA, as well as the mortality rate of weeds after the application of the two tools. Parameters observed were spraying time, work performance, weed mortality rate and cost comparison. The results showed that the CDA sprayer was more effective in controlling weeds, because it was able to spray an area of ??1381.6 m2/tank and was also more efficient at a cost of Rp. 53,508/ha. Meanwhile, the knapsack sprayer is capable of spraying an area of ??188.4 m2/tank at a cost of Rp 89,436/ha. Weed mortality rate after herbicide application with CDA sprayer reached 99%, whereas with knapsack sprayer it only reached 90%.

Abstract

Alternative growing media are needed to overcome the shortage of top soil which generally occurs in oil palm nursery. Organic waste such as vegetables, food and rice straw is one of the ingredients that can be used as a growing medium because it is easy to find and has a high nutrient content. These wastes need to be decomposed to make them more easily absorbed by plants, therefore it is necessary to add bioactivators such as Trichoderma sp. for speed up the decomposition process. The purpose of this study are to obtain alternative growing media for organic waste, determine its effect on oil palm seedlings, and determine the best growing media treatment. This research conducted at experiment areal in Cibitung, from November 2021 until August 2022. This research was arranged in non factorial block complete design with four treatments, consist of P0 (kontrol sub soil), P1 (50% vegetable waste+50% sub soil+Trichoderma sp.), P2 (50% food waste+50% sub soil+Trichoderma sp.) dan P3 (50 rice straw+50% sub soil + Trichoderma sp.). Every treatments repeated 3 times and have 3 samples, so there were 36 seeds. The data was analysis of variance, if test result was significant at 5%, then continued by BNT. The results showed that organic waste could be used as alternative growing media for oil palm nursery, and significantly effected to plant height (3 MAP), stem diameter (2 and 3 MAP), leaf area and biomass. The best treatment based on morphological and physiological response is rice straw and Trichoderma sp.

Abstract

Limbah tandan kosong merupakan salah satu limbah utama di perkebunan kelapa sawit yang memiliki kandungan unsur hara tinggi, sehingga dapat dijadikan media tanam untuk budidaya jamur merang. Jamur merang adalah jamur yang memiliki produksi rendah dibandingkan jamur tiram, sehingga perlu teknis budidaya yang tepat untuk meningkatkan produksinya. Salah satu aspek budidaya yang dapat ditingkatkan adalah penggunaan media tanam yang mengandung unsur hara tinggi juga ramah lingkungan seperti limbah tandan kosong kelapa sawit. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan alternatif media tanam dari limbah tandan kosong kelapa sawit, mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap kualitas media tanam, pertumbuhan dan produksi jamur merang, serta mendapatkan perlakuan terbaik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di PT Perkebunan Socfindo, Batubara, Sumatera Utara, mulai bulan Februari sampai Juni 2023. Penelitian ini disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non factorial yang terdiri dari P0 (1 kg sekam padi (SP): 0 gram TKKS), P1 (0,5 kg SP : 0,5 kg TKKS), P2 (0 kg SP : 1 kg TKKS). Analisis yang digunakan adalah ANOVA dan Uji Lanjut BNT. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa tandan kosong kelapa sawit dapat dijadikan media tanam alternatif untuk budidaya jamur merang. TKKS berpengaruh nyata terhadap suhu media tanam (hari ke-1 dan ke-6), tinggi, diameter, biomassa dan produksi jamur. Komposisi media tanam terbaik untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi jamur adalah 0 kg sekam padi dan 1 kg TKKS.
