Abstract

Striae gravidarum can be reduced by the use of olive oil.. 100 g of extra virgin oil contains 14.39 mcg alpha tocopherol. Whereas the coconut oil in 100 g only contains 0.1 mg of Vitamin E. The purpose of this study was to analyze the difference between the use of olive oil and coconut oil on the incidence of strie gravidarum in pregnant women. This research is included in experimental research. All pregnant women in January to August were 30 pregnant women. The sample in this study were 15 pregnant women who used olive oil and 15 pregnant women who used VCO oil. The mean value of Strie Gravidarum in postpartum mothers given Olive oil is 3.13 in a day and the standard deviation is 1,642. While the mean value (mean) of Strie Gravidarum in postpartum mothers who were given VCO oil was 2.93 in a day and the standard deviation was 1.831. Statistical test results with independent sample t test obtained p-value = 0.007 (p-value<a = 0.05), these results indicate that there are significant differences between the administration of olive oil and VCO oil to striae gravidarum in postpartum mothers.

Abstract

Diarrhea is a major cause of morbidity and mortality in children in developing countries. The main cause of death due to dehydration as a result of loss of fluids and electrolytes through the feces. Other important causes of death are dysentery, malnutrition and serious infections such as pneumonia. Based on the results of the preliminary study that has been carried out there are 20 mothers who have toddlers who visit the Work Area of ​​the Dukuhseti Health Center, Pati Regency, namely there are 8 respondents who have mothers who suffer from diarrhea due to food factors and the behavior of the children themselves with a weight of 2.1-13.6 kg (aged 1-5 years) and it was found that 12 respondents who had children under five stated that their children had not paid attention to their nutritional status or had poor nutrition with a weight of 1.7-11.7 kg (aged 1-5 years). The purpose of this study was to determine nutritional status with the incidence of diarrhea in children under five. This type of research uses correlation analysis with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all children under five who visited during January-March 2020 as many as 673 toddlers. The samples taken were 67 toddlers. The sampling technique used is Random Sampling (randomly). Result of research : Respondents whose nutritional status is less affected by diarrhea are 26 toddlers (38.8%) and 10 toddlers (14.9%). Meanwhile, 2 (3.0%) respondents with poor nutritional status had diarrhea and 0 (0.0%). The results of the chi square test obtained count 17.030 > table 5.9915 and p value 0.001 <0.05. It can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted which means that there is a significant relationship between nutritional status and the incidence of diarrhea in children under five.

Abstract

Menstrual disorders that often occur in adolescents are menstrual pain or dysmenorrhea. Adolescents who experience menstrual pain will feel cramps in the lower abdomen and are usually accompanied by additional symptoms that interfere with daily activities. One effort that can be done to reduce it is to provide non-pharmacological therapy, namely yoga. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the decrease in the intensity of menstrual pain before and after the application of yoga. This research is an experimental study with a quasi-experimental design using the One Group Pretest Posttest design approach. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMPN 1 Tanjung totaling 113 people with a total sample of 59 people. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, observations, interviews, and literature. Data analysis using Paired T Test. The results showed the value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the decrease in the intensity of menstrual pain before (pretest) and after (posttest) the application of yoga to class VIII students at SMPN 1 Tanjung Bintang. It is hoped that young women can take advantage of yoga therapy in dealing with menstrual pain and consult medical personnel if the pain becomes unbearable.

Abstract

Injectable contraception does not cause problems but still has drawbacks and side effects. A 3-month injectable birth control acceptor, some time after using the contraception, sometimes experiences several problems such as headaches, menstrual disorders and weight gain or loss. Zumba exercises have movements that are able to move the abdominal and gluteal muscles with light abilities, up to 60 minutes in duration. can break down fat stores in the body. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Zumba gymnastics on reducing the side effects of weight gain in 3-month injectable birth control acceptors. The design used in this study was quasi-experimental. The research design used was one group pre-test-post test design. The sample in this study was 44 respondents. Data analysis in this study used the Wilcoxon test. The results of the Wilcoxon test above show that a significant value <0.05 with a Zcount value of 3.051 > Z table 0.208 means that H1 is accepted and Ho is rejected, that is, there is an effect of giving Zuma gymnastics on weight loss in 3-month injection family planning acceptors at PMB Muslikhatun.
