Abstract

Motivation is a change in energy in a person that is characterized by the emergence of feelings and is preceded by a response to the existence of learning objectives, namely changes in behavior or appearance, with a series of activities such as reading, observing, listening, imitating This research aims to determine the increase in student learning motivation by using Inquiry approach in Class IX-1 SMP Negeri 1 Namorambe Academic Year 2017/2018. The research method is classroom action research and the research subject is Class IX-1. The class studied consisted of 34 students. Based on the learning outcomes of the first cycle, an average value of 70 was obtained. After the second cycle, there was an increase to 85. In this study, data on individual and classical learning completeness criteria were obtained, to as many as 34 students or by 100%. Thus the learning in this study can be said to have been completed. The level of student mastery of the material being taught, which is made based on the final test is 100% of students who have very high mastery. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that learning using the inquiry approach in Class IX-1 SMP Negeri 1 Namorambe for the 2017/2018 academic year has increased student learning motivation.

Abstract

Abstrak : Improvement Efforts Of Learning Through Application PKN Type Cooperative Learning STAD Students Class VII-2 SMPN 1 Namorambe. The purpose of this study is to see students learning activities that include learning activities of students while working in groups on subjects Civics class and student achievement by implementing STAD learning model type. The research subject was taken in class VII-1 SMP Negeri 1 Namorambe byteh number of students 34 people. Student activity data observed. The result showed thet by applying cooperative learning model STAD has increased an average of 12 is the first cycle the average-average at 71 and the second cycle an average of 83. The completeness of learning outcomes in the first cycle or 15 students (46.8%) and 28 students or (87.5%) this means thet the student completed the study according KKM Civics have been set in SMP Negeri 1 Namorambe and increased from the cycle I to cycle II amounted to 40.7%.  Keywords : Model Type STAD, Learning Outcomes, Learning Activities Abstrak : Upaya Peningkatan Hasil Belajar PKN Melalui Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD Siswa Kelas VII-2 SMPN 1 Namorambe. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk  melihat aktivitas belajar siswa yang mencakup aktivitas belajar siswa saat bekerja dalam kelompok dikelas pada mata pelajaran PKn dan juga prestasi belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Tipe STAD. Subjek  penelitian ini  diambil di kelas VII-1 SMP Negeri 1 Namorambe dengan jumlah siswa 34 orang. Data aktivitas siswa menurut pengamatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD mengalami peningkatan rata-rata 12 yaitu pada siklus I rata – rata sebesar 71 dan pada siklus II rata-rata sebesar 83.  ketuntasan  hasil belajar pada siklus I 15 orang siswa atau  (46,8%) dan  28 orang siswa atau (87,5%) hal ini berarti siswa tuntas dalam belajar sesuai KKM PKn  yang telah ditetapkan di SMP Negeri 1 Namorambe dan meningkat dari siklus I ke Siklus II sebesar 40,7%. Kata kunci : Model Tipe STAD, Hasil Belajar, Aktivitas Belajar
