Abstract

Sebagaimana dikemukakan para pakar sastra bahwa karya sastra  tidak berangkat dari  kekosongan  budaya,  sistem  sastra  tertentu  tidak  tumbuh  dan  berkembang dalam  isolasi  mutlak,  kemunculan  karakteristik  tertentu  pada  karya  bukanlah sesuatu yang khas secara  inheren pada dirinya sendiri. Hal-hal  tersebut memiliki hubungan  dengan  aspek-aspek  lain  di  luar  sastra.  Pendapat-pendapat  tersebut  menegaskan  bahwa  eksistensi  karya  sastra  terkait  dengan  ekologinya.  Yang dimaksud  ekologi  adalah  segala  sesuatu  yang melingkupi  proses  dan  karenanya menginspirasi  penciptaan  karya  satra.  Dalam  paradigma  ekologis,  karya  sastra diposisikan sebagai suatu species atau komponen dalam sebuah ekosistem. Hidup dan  berkembangnya  sebuah  karya  sastra  adalah  akibat  aksi  dan  reaksi  ekologis dalam  kondisi  ekosistem  tertentu  yang  kompleks  dan  kait-mengkait.  Dalam paradigma ekologi, kemunculan karya sastra bisa dipandang sebagai bukti adanya evolusi,  adaptasi,  atau  kemungkinan-kemungkinan  unik  lainnya. Kajian  ekologi terhadap  karya  sastra  dimungkinkan  karena  ada  kesejajaran  antara  fenomena karya sastra dan fenomena organisme dalam ekosistemnya. Oleh karena itu, kajian ekologi  terhadap  karya  sastra  juga  dapat memanfaatkan  pendekatan-pendekatan dalam penelitian ekologi.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to analyze the text structure of the Report of Observation Results (LHO) in class X TITL 1 SMK Negeri 5 Surabaya through the application of collaborative learning methods. This research was conducted in two cycles. In cycle 1, most groups scored below the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). However, after improvements were made in cycle 2 by adding differentiation of the learning process according to students' learning modalities, there was a significant increase in scores. The results showed an increase in students' scores by 20% to 50%, with all groups successfully exceeding the KKM. Group 6 experienced the highest increase, from 50 to 100. This finding shows that the collaborative learning method is effective in improving the ability to analyze the structure of LHO text. The application of this method achieved maximum results, so it can be recommended as a learning strategy for similar materials in the future.

Abstract

In this study explains two objectives, first describe the improvement in the process carried out and second, describe the improvement in the results of the ability to write poetry through collaborative learning model activities. This research was conducted in class X-9 SMA Negeri 21 Surabaya which amounted to 35 people. Data collection was carried out using observation sheet analysis and tests. The results of the study explain that learning by using a collaborative model can improve the skills of writing poetry in students. These skills have increased can be seen from the average score of students. In the initial condition, the average score of students got 60, in cycle I it increased to an average of 65 still below the KKM value of Indonesian language subjects, in cycle II it increased significantly to an average score of 89. Through the application of collaborative learning, it is quite significant in improving the poetry writing skills of class X students at SMA Negeri 21 Surabaya.

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is an action to improve the learning system involving researchers, observers, and the subjects under study. The main purpose of this study is to improve the ability to write observation report text (lho) using the cooperative learning method for class X TITL 1 SMKN 5 Surabaya 2024/2025. Data collection was done by observation, test, interview. The results showed an increase in the percentage of students who reached the KKM score from the initial condition of 20% to 51.42% in cycle I, and increased again to 85.71% in cycle II. The application of this method also succeeded in increasing students' motivation and enthusiasm in the learning process, especially when differentiation was carried out according to each student's learning style in cycle II.

Abstract

This article focuses on improving the ability to analyze the structure of job application letters by using puzzle media in grade XII students at SMK 5 Surabaya. This research was conducted because students often have difficulty in analyzing the text of a job application letter, even though this material is very important for daily life, especially in finding a job. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of two cycles. Each cycle includes planning, execution, observation, and reflection. In this study, puzzle media is used as a learning tool to improve students' analytical thinking skills. The results showed that the use of puzzle media significantly improved students' analytical ability from pre-cycle to second cycle, with the level of learning completeness increasing from 34.29% in pre-cycle to 87.68% in second cycle. Puzzle media is effective in improving students' analytical skills, and it is recommended to be applied to other subjects with appropriate learning strategies.

Abstract

The purpose is to develop the students of class XI-TFLM 2 of SMK Negeri 5 Surabaya in understanding the structure of news text by using SQ3R technique. The main problem identified is that students are unable to recognize the important elements of news text, such as title, introduction, news content, and conclusion. This research method includes two action cycles using the SQ3R strategy and consists of the following steps: research, questioning, reading, reciting, and reviewing. In Cycle I, this strategy was introduced to improve students' understanding of news text structure, resulting in an increase in students' average score from 55.82 points in the pre-action to 71.06 points. Based on the reflection of Cycle I, it was found that students still had difficulty distinguishing and analyzing the elements of news structure. In the second cycle, they strengthened the SQ3R strategy through group discussions and extensive reading, so that their average score increased to 80.76. These results show that the SQ3R strategy is effective in improving students' news text analysis skills. The improvement of students' ability in analyzing the structure of news texts is reflected in the better results in cycle II, showing the potential of this method as an effective approach in Indonesian language learning. This study recommends a more comprehensive application of the SQ3R strategy to improve news text analysis skills in secondary education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of the ability to analyze facts and opinions in argumentation text of students of class XI TEK 2 SMK Negeri 5 Surabaya, as well as to describe the effectiveness of cooperative learning model in class XI TEK 2 SMK Negeri 5 Surabaya. This type of research is a class action research (PTK). This class action research was conducted in class XI TEK 2 of SMK Negeri 5 Surabaya in semester 1 of 2024/2025 academic year. The subjects of this study were students of class XI TEK 2 consisting of 31 students; 24 male students and 7 female students. Data collection techniques using direct observation and test methods. Based on the results and discussion, the following conclusions can be drawn. (1) There was an increase in the learning outcomes of students in class XI TEK 2 in learning to analyze facts and opinions in argumentation text. The increase in student learning outcomes was 37.5. In addition, the increase in learning outcomes did not only occur in students who had not met the minimum score in cycle I, but also in 4 groups at once. Even as many as three groups achieved maximum learning outcomes. (2) Cooperative learning model is effective in learning to analyze facts and opinions in argumentation text. The cooperative learning model encourages learners to actively discuss to determine facts and opinions in argumentation text in groups.
