Abstract

 Abd. Rahman Azahari   This study describes constraints affecting social sport as material culture received minor perception for young generation and the sport is left in modern information technology.  This study used grounded research emphasizing an indepth data analysis to achieve wise phenomenon.  Data were collected using participatory observation and indepth interviews.  Two traditional Dayak sports in Central Kalimantan were observed:  menyipet (to blow with a pipe) and balago in January to July 2015, involving sport organization heads, cultural heads, sport teachers, coaches, and athletes as informants.  Data were analyzed using open coding, axial coding and selective coding from Strauss and Corbin.  The study revealed: (1) internal problems include: monotonous rules of the games, no more funs, hard to train, and do not serve to earn money; (2)  external problems include:  lack of coordination between government offices, limited invitation games,  complex government regulation and policy, restricted facilities for traditional sports.

Abstract

This study aims to describe steps to revitalize traditional sports to become sports for all for Dayak Society in Central Kalimantan. The study used qualitative approach implementing phenomenology aspiring perception of athletes of the traditional sports. The study was conducted in July to December 2015 invomving informants from social heads, traditional heads, sportmen, sport teachers, students majoring in sports and public. Data were collected using participatory observation and an indepth interview. Data were analyzed using qualitative procedures: collecting, reduction, classification and conclusion drawing. The study revealed that the best model to internalize and sustain traditional sports to become sport for all for Dayak Traditional Sports in Central Kalimantan includes: conducting festivals, tournaments, and inducing traditional sports in the local curriculum across school levels.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pencapaian hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di kelas III B SDN 4 Palangka melalui pemanfaatan media pembelajaran inovatif berupa papan pintar. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa serta terbatasnya penggunaan media yang mampu merangsang partisipasi aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran. Selama ini, proses pembelajaran cenderung bersifat satu arah dan dominan menggunakan metode konvensional yang berpusat pada guru, sehingga kurang menghadirkan pengalaman belajar yang menarik dan interaktif. Dengan mengintegrasikan media papan pintar, penelitian ini berusaha membangun lingkungan belajar yang lebih menyenangkan dan mendorong keterlibatan langsung siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus, meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil dari penerapan media ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam hasil belajar siswa, terlihat dari peningkatan rata-rata nilai dari 60,77 pada tahap pra siklus, menjadi 72,15 pada siklus I, dan mencapai 87,69 pada siklus II. Selain itu, tingkat ketuntasan belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan, dari 30,76% pada pra siklus menjadi 46,15% pada siklus I, dan melonjak menjadi 84,61% pada siklus II. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan papan pintar efektif dalam mengoptimalkan hasil dan proses pembelajaran siswa.

Abstract

This classroom action research was conducted to improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Pancasila Education by implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model combined with the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. The study involved 13 third-grade students at SDN 4 Palangka during the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of one meeting. The learning process was carried out using the PBL model that emphasizes problem-solving and was integrated with the CRT approach, which respects students' cultural backgrounds to make learning more contextual and meaningful. The research data were collected through observation, documentation, and tests administered at the end of each cycle. The results of the pre-cycle showed a class average score of 52.30, with only 30.77% of students achieving the minimum mastery criteria (KKM). In Cycle I, the class average increased to 70.76 with 69.23% mastery. In Cycle II, there was a significant improvement with an average score of 90.00 and 84.61% of students achieving mastery. These findings indicate that the application of the PBL model combined with the CRT approach effectively enhances students’ learning outcomes in Pancasila Education.
