Abstract

The purpose of this research was to discuss about God's calling in the lives of Moses as individuals. Every people is searching for meaning and purpose of their lives on earth, but it is very ironic that even believers inside the church isn't aware of God's calțing in their lives and how to answer and fulfill it. This results in the church only as a community of religious group alike with every other religion, without any difference or significant impact as the body of Christ. The forms of research are qualitative and observation, and from the result, it is concluded that God's calling is given to the believers in a common way, so each of the believer is supposed to accept and receive it along with a divine guidance that will lead their lives to fulfil it, with requirement of paying attention to God and His Glory. That God's calling isn't given only to certain believer. Every believer in Christ has a specific calling and role to be acted for God's glory. With the guidance of The Holy Spirit, they are enabled to fulfil the calling in each of their lives.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the role of parents in introducing God from an early age based on Deuteronomy 6:4-7 and its implications for spiritual growth. Considering the important role of parents in educating, especially early childhood, which is a golden period for growth and character formation, it is necessary to introduce God to them so that they have a strong foundation for their spiritual growth in the future. The condition of teenagers is still unstable, they are easily influenced by their social environment and become involved in delinquency. It is the responsibility of parents to introduce God, teach them to love Him so that faith in Him grows and bears fruit. This research uses descriptive qualitative analytical methods with data collection procedures using observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques, namely reducing and presenting data and researchers interpreting it. The results of the research are that there are parents who educate their children using violence but also with love; Examples given in everyday life and providing guidance. The conclusion is that parents at GBI True Vine Jakarta carry out their role in educating, setting an example, and guiding their children. Showing faith in God, introducing His love. The spirituality of teenagers at GBI True Vine Jakarta grows as they get older, they have faith in Jesus and have a desire to do their best for Him.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an understanding of the church's responsibility for holistic service in society, nation and state and to create a harmonious life so that the unity and integrity of Indonesia can be maintained. Republik Indonesia is the largest archipelagic country in the world with more than 17,000 islands. Through its uniqueness and diversity, Indonesia is known as a country with pluralistic society. This can be seen in the Indonesian value "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika", the word "bhinneka" means "different", an acknowledgment that the Indonesia is a nation with pluralism. Behavior that reflects the values ​​of unity and integrity in the social community is very much needed to maintain the nation. The Indonesian need to have solidarity based on the spirit of unity and unity in diversity in order to achieve a common goal, for the unity and welfare of Indonesia, for that the role of the church is very important in giving impact in the form of holistic services. The current study uses qualitative method, sourced from various literatures and journal articles related to the topic of discussion. The results of the study state that a church can carry out a holistic service function and have an impact on improving social welfare for a harmonious life in the unity and integrity Indonesia. The final conclusion states that the church should be able to have a real impact and function to play a holistic ministry such as koinonia, marturia, diakonia within the framework of Indonesian unity and integrity.
