Abstract

Initial water content impacts the accuracy and resolution of the inversion in surface nuclear magnetic resonance (SNMR). In order to solve this problem, a new method called as regularization combined with simulated atomic transition method (RSATA) is proposed. The inversion of SNMR is transformed into an unconstrained nonlinear global optimization problem, and it solved directly by RSATA without pre-assigning the initial water content distribution. The conjugate gradient linear iterative algorithm is adopted to look for local minimum and global extreme value when using RSATA, and has improved the inversion speed. Results show that this method is a very good solution to solve the effect of initial water content and it is also better than the existing methods on the operation efficiency and the accuracy of inversion. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i9.3248

Abstract

Duo to the effect of receiving antenna, there is a certain deviation between the transient electromagnetic signal and the observation signal outputted from receiving antenna, leading to large blind areas in the shallow exploration of TEM. In order to improve the distortion of the outputted signal, the algorithm of deconvolution based on incremental wiener filter is proposed to recovery the signal in this paper. The influence of receiving antenna to transient electromagnetic signal is eliminated, and the optimum estimated is obtained after the algorithm is applied to realize the deconvolution of observation signal. Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that: compared with traditional damping matching method, the recovery signal by the algorithm has a better approximation to the theoretical signal, a higher resolution in shallow exploration, and the damping state of antenna has no influence on the recovery signal. It is of importance for improving transient electromagnetic shallow exploration. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i9.3249

Abstract

Some techniques of controlling remotely the digital storage oscilloscope were proposed including VISA, VXIplug&play drivers, TVC and IVI-COM drivers. By means of GPIB and VISA, several application development environments could be used to develop remote control techniques to the digital storage oscilloscope. The programming language of Visual C++ was used to develop software. With the help of VISA and the dynamic link library, remote control to the digital storage oscilloscope through network was completed. All operations to the digital storage oscilloscope including parameters setup, data acquisition, waveform acquisition and storage, data processing were implemented in a remote place. The results show that the techniques of remote control are convenient and efficient and fit for experiments of scientific research and practical projects. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i4.2339
