Abstract

In case of an accident occurrence, ambulance try to transport wounded and injured people to the nearest hospital, but if the injured persons need an urgent blood transfer, the emergency reception (ER) can check the availability of the needed blood type and quantity. If it is available, the emergency reception accepts the injured person, but if it is not available, the reception reroutes the ambulance to the nearest hospital which have the required blood type and quantity. So, a system created that save that wasted time to save injured people life as possible.  So, we create a system that save that wasted time to save injured people life as possible. So, the main contribution in this paper is selecting and determining the nearest hospital that own the proper blood types to save injurjed people lives using dijkstra algorithm. In this study, we use an android application at the ambulance which permit the paramedic to login and select the required blood type and quantity needed after determining the injured person’s blood type and the android application automatically determine the nearest hospital using the best shortest path algorithm (SPA) after checking the database and generate a pin code for the paramedic to deliver it with injured person to the ER and get the needed blood. This process will consequently decrease the used blood quantity from the database.

Abstract

The objective of this work is to take a step further in this direction by incorporating voice control and artificial intelligence (AI) into internet of things (IoT)-based smart home systems to create more efficient automated smart home systems. Accordingly, a home automation system proposal is presented, in which the related functions can be controlled by voice commands using an android or web application via a chat form. The user issues a voice command, which is deciphered by natural language processing (NLP). To accommodate the user’s request, the NLP classifies it into operation commands. Arduino and Raspberry Pi are used to translate the commands extracted from NLP into reality. Based on this, home applications can be controlled. Also, the utilities consumption could be calculated, saved, and paid on time. This is in addition to the introduction of a machine learning (ML)-based recommendation system for automated home appliance control. In this approach, the mobile or web application is considered as the central controller, deciding the appropriate actions to fulfill the user’s desires. The presented work has been put into practice and tested. It proved to be applicable, as well as having the potential for making home life more comfortable, economic, and safe.

Abstract

The increasing demand for the internet of things (IoT) and massive machine-type communications has significantly expanded network size and complexity. Recent research indicates that 95% of network tasks are monitored manually, leading to configuration complexity, human errors, faults, downtime risks, and time consumption. Network automation emerges as a practical solution by reducing administrative overhead and enabling reliable, scalable, and self-managing networks through scripting and standardized programming languages. This paper proposes a model for automated networks using Python-based methods, specifically Paramiko, Netmiko, and the network automation and programmability abstraction layer with multivendor support (NAPALM), to configure the enhanced interior gateway routing protocol (EIGRP) within the graphical network simulator-3(GNS3) environment. The performance of the automated network was evaluated using two scenarios: with threading and without threading. Key metrics included execution time, configuration accuracy, error rates, and resource utilization. Simulation results demonstrate that the automated approach significantly outperforms manual configuration. In addition, the automated model with threading outperformed the automated model without threading, achieving execution time reductions up to 67% and 100% configuration accuracy with zero errors. These findings underscore the effectiveness of the proposed system for automating complex network tasks in large-scale IoT deployments.
